Horrible narrator

I love this series, but the narrator ruined this one for me. I was truly shocked how bad she was. Still my favorite series ever.

I loved this story!!

I like this whole series, Unique take on vampire/shifter world! We finally got Jill and Logan's story in this book and it was 100% worth the wait and credit!! I really like that each story keeps you updated on past characters it keeps me invested!

I absolutely love this series, and I have been waiting for Jill's story. I love the addition of Shane, Emma and Caleb. Talk about melting a vampire's heart- that little Emma and Caleb. This is one of my favorites of the whole series. Lots of action happening. I personally love Jill's character. She has evolved so much since finding out more and more about what Jill was hiding and dealing with. I think the narrator did a great job. I know it is most ideal to keep the same voice actor for series, but I think Dani did a wonderful job. I truly think this series would be amazing if it could be done in duet style or with dual narrators. I cannot wait to see what is in store for this series.

the voice...

I like the sorry! However, Kale is quite possibly my favorite character and the voice is quite a deterrent to listening via Audible. i know the brogue cons and goes through the centuries, but this book takes place literally at the same time as Kale's book. (The other readerS still gave him an accent and more of a tenor. ) I thankfully have the Kindle and a half decent screen reader. Bummer. this is the first time I prefer the Kindle.

An Absolute Must-Read for Fans!

I have loved this series for years, and Short, Lethal & Claimed did not disappoint! Jill and Logan’s story was a long time coming, and it was everything I hoped for and filled with those unforgettable moments that make the RL Mathewson story telling so special.

And the kids Caleb, Ema, and Shane, oh my heart! They completely stole my heart. I loved every second of it.

I know some people weren’t fans of the narration, but personally, I thought it was great. I usually listen at 1.25x to 1.35x speed, so if you’re hesitant, maybe try adjusting the playback speed it might make all the difference!

And RL you couldn’t resist yourself now I want Thomas story.

If you’re a fan of the series, this is a must. If you haven’t started yet, I highly recommend diving in. You won’t regret it!

I need more!

I’ve been waiting a long time for this to come out and it did not disappoint!

why can't narrators do research before taking a job?

I LOVED this book but, the narrator almost killed it for me. I powered threw because I had been waiting on this book for YEARS!!! Narrators who jump in on a book later in a series need to recognize that to the fans this is already an established world. The personalities and mannerisms have already developed as well as accents which may not be pointed out because to the fans it's well known. Second book that was almost ruined by a narrator who had no ideal who the characters were or why we love them. To them it's a paycheck to us it's our friends who have now been wronged twice.

Poor Narration

I absolutely love the Pyte/Sentinel series but, on these last 2 books, Audible has dropped the ball on narration. This narrator, while her narration was ok, her male voices were all the same and somewhat cringe. All of the female voices sounded the same and she did not do any of the accents that a few of the characters are supposed to have. Once she pronounced the names correctly, I was able to push past the rest. She was a small upgrade from the last narrator, but I really wish someone at Audible would listen to the reviews and get a narrator that will do their research on the series and do the characters that we have come to love justice.

Short, Legthal and Claimed

I waited a long time for this book and it was worth the wait. Jill and Logan story was a true love story. It was nice to the family reunite and Jill and Logan getting their happiness.
