blown away

Lessa Lamb blew me away with her performance as Sorrell. I don't even have words for how incredible she was. Michael Gallagher did a very good job as Theo. He brought just the right amount of emotions and vulnerability to the character. But the majority of this incredible story was narrated by Lessa and she was complete perfection. She had so many moments that had me feeling everything. I could hear the frustration, the anger, the fear and the love in her performance. it was amazing.
This is an epic story that is written so well and will be in my favorites list forever.

This was such a pleasant surprise! This was over the top and nothing like what I was expecting, but I couldn’t put it done. Not even sure how to summarize this one, so I’m not going to try. All I know is you should go into this knowing as little as possible. Theo was such a swoon worthy and endlessly devoted hero, he was definitely the best part of the book.

I also personally wouldn’t call this a dark romance per se, but that’s just me.

LOVE THIS BOOK!

Wow! just wow! This was my first book by Callie Hart and it definitely won't be my last! I'm OBSESSED with this book, these characters. I felt every emotion with legit tears streaming down my face! The plot twist, I was constantly guessing and I loved it! Lessa and Michael did a fantastic job bringing Sorrell and Theo to life. Theo is book boyfriend GOALS!

Such a surprise, beautiful and heartwarming

I don’t normally leave reviews but I just loved this book. The description doesn’t nearly scratch the surface - it is so much more than that and so poignant and beautiful without getting too sad and while keeping lots of spice!! Big plot twist, great storyline, and incredible narrators.

Rough start but wow!

I was really skeptical about this book at the beginning. I had so many mixed feelings about it & the bonfire/party scene towards the beginning nearly had me stop right there. It was so twisted & gross feeling. Consent is critical & pressuring someone into providing it is coercion—not consent!

I knew that something was seriously up & that there were going to be plot twists galore, but while I had several suspicions, I was really impressed by the plot twist! Wowzahs! Well played! I started out hating Theo & thinking that he was a complete d*ck but, man did my opinion of him change! Just wow!
I will say that I was disappointed by the ending. I love everything that was alluded to, but I was looking forward to the details & we didn’t get those.
Nonetheless, I was so impressed with this book that I’m giving it a very rare (for me) 5 star rating & adding it to my favorites list!

I love figuring out the twist to the story, So this book had me guessing so many random things. But this twist I did not see coming. So intense and emotional. Absolutely amazing story.
