Love when the guy falls hard

Britta agrees to marry Sumner so he can remain in the US to play hockey. Sumner fell for Britta when he first met her and he wanted a real marriage, but Britta had been hurt in the past and trust doesn’t come easily to her. Cute and quick novella.

The spicy parts were great - story was good and predictable but a nice quick listen.

This was a cute novella by Tessa. I liked the narration a lot, but some of the plot lines were unrealistic and hard for me to get into. I also didn’t like the major time jumps as I wanted to see more of their relationship together. I loved how obsessed Sumner was with Britta. I loved his character so much. It was overall a cute read, but I feel like Tessa has better books out there.

Cute love story

It was a very predictable but cute little story. The 🌶️ was 10/10. Very fast paced. Makes for a quick listen.

Sumner is a beautiful and amazing soul. he loved her from the beginning and waited for her to reciprocate

Spicy fun!

I loved that the two main characters traded telling the story and shared their different POVs.

Slow and predictable. Skipped to the end to make it through. The narrators were fine but they didn’t have much to work with.

Not for me!

I love Christmas stories, I just however, do not like stories with explicit sex talk in it.

Finally a book that is perfect length

We all know how torturous it is to have an 11 hour book where in the characters rehash their own internal battles and rearrange their lifetime of luggage for 30% of the book. This one cuts most of that rehash out and just follows this couple for a year. Very enjoyable.
