Pleasantly Surprised

I didn't think I'd like a Jersey themed series but the writing and characters were pretty good. The male characters could use more development other than "tortured male" but I throughly enjoyed reading these. Especially the last one with Renner and Milo 😏

Perfectly narrated and spicy spicy!

Adored the different stories and the use of different experiences shaping their desires and stories.

Meh

I decided to give this a shot because I loved “it happened one summer” and “hook, line, and sinker”. It’s TORTURE! The women are too good & precious while the guys are essentially brooding garbage. It’s annoying. I might just keep grinding away at it for background noise when I have long drives. This (south) jersey girl doesn’t approve.

Great series

These were spicier than I thought they would be, and that’s not a compliment 😂 all of the couples were awesome. Loved the narration on all 4.

Ok - don’t really like 3rd person POV

Books 1-3 were ehh typical- didn’t realize it was going to be third person POV which is ok- but can be confusing - I like duel POV in first person - book 4 tho I don’t normally read or listen to MM books but holy moly. I’ve never cheered so hard for 2 people to get together! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Not much story in any of the books

Way more sex than story! I don’t mind good sex scenes…. But when that’s is ALL there is in the book…. Very little story wove in…. And then to have a MM book added in at the end…. Just wasn’t for me I guess… on to a new series….

Ok Series

The first three books were nice and an ok listen. I did not realize the four book was about two men which was a no go for me.

Nice stories with unexpected rough sex

I liked the stories but was very unhappy that Audible didn't indicate the rough sex in the 2nd & 3rd books. Also, the 4th book is a gay couple, which is fine, and was actually a good story, but should have been indicated to readers before purchasing. I returned the books as I would not have ordered them. I really didn't understand why the author had the rough sex in the 2 books as the characters were interesting and hot sex would have been very appealing but slapping of breasts, faces, etc was just off-putting to me.

Just How

How is every book so good independently. Loved the series. The characters are strong and amazing.

Spicy

This series is spicy, could not stop listening to it OMG. This was so so good 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.... SO HOT!!!!!
