To regain some semblance of control, Rosie throws herself into renovating the villa’s garden, but no amount of ivy whacking, weed pulling, lavender planting can stop the feeling that the house is sighing with emptiness, and Rosie can’t stave off the strong urge to escape from her safe haven and her downward spiralling life.
With the Sighing House on the brink of being put on the market, can Rosie find a purpose for the villa and salvage her crumbling dream life in Italy?

Didn’t want it to end
I loved the narrator which can make or break an audible story. Rosie’s sense of humor continues through this story as in the last 4 books. These 5 books are must read for pure enjoyment. You will laugh and cry with Rosie and when it’s all over you will want to go meet her in Umbria

Feelings
I was upset with Rosie for awhile, I didn’t want her to sell the house. I didn’t want her to be mad at her husband! But she give words to what so many of us have to go through but don’t have the words just the feelings . I don’t want to give up the friends in this book! I want to keep going! I want to paint in the garden and have tea with Rosie , I love the books

Beautifully done
This is the first time Rosie had me in tears. After reading all of her books I can’t help but feel like I am part of her family, sharing her good times and her grief. Rosie, I hope that you have more to share!
