Oh Rhett - the heart wants what it wants...but what a troubled past you've lead. I respect so deeply your convictions and my heart breaks for the lil boy who suffered so. As for Indie - let me first say how much I love this name! Also, I totally get her character and somewhat her situation as I've been with my now hubby for more than half my life (we were HS sweethearts) so I know about the long term relationship thing and I get that at times there is a mundane to it all. So, that's the jist of the storyline - which is awesome. I love the instant attraction Rhett and Indie have and how both do the right thing ultimately. So well written and I love the dual narration which really brings these characters to life. I am completely in love with this series and love that each tie together but can be read as stand alones with no problem!

Could be a halmark movie

I love the 2 part narration. You'll laugh, you'll gasp, you'll love this book. I'm going to get the rest of the series.

A splendid love story!

Rhett is another wonderfully-composed story by Kelsie Rae and an excellent addition to the Signature Sweethearts series. This is my second book by Kelsie Rae, and I have to say she definitely has me hooked. I adore the characters in this installment. Rhett is the ideal man, charming, kind, honest with a heart of gold, and Indie is genuine and relatable. When Rhett first meets Indie, there is an instant attraction, but there is a problem, she is in a relationship. Indie is in a place where she is comfortable with her life but not truly happy and known for a while that her relationship with Tony is going nowhere.

I thought Rhett and Indie are perfect for each other. Even so, their journey to HEA is complicated, paved with obstacles, and moral dilemmas. When they are finally able to be together, their connection is explosive. This is a delightful love story, and I was wholly engrossed. The narration is superb, further engaging the listener.

Signature Sweethearts is a fabulous series and one I strongly recommend. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Absolutely captivating!

This was my first audtio book, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I found the author on tiktok and knew I had to read one of her books....I'm now planning on buying all of them. This is a book in the middle of a series, but the series can all be read as stand alone books. The narrating is fantastic with the two different narrators. The storyline is beyond captivating! I'm halfway through the next book and I'm so hooked!

Cute Story

This story was adorable, from the baked goods to the shaggy dog and everything in between. I enjoyed the premise and the development of the characters and exploration of what you do when a long-held relationship proves itself to be wrong for you.

The narration quality was good, though portions of the guy's parts had some odd pausing and a couple stumbles that could have been edited out. Even so, I enjoyed his voice, and I had no complaints about the female narrator.

I'd like to hear more in the series. I would have loved it if they weren't fade to black on the sex scenes, but I know not everyone writes graphic sex. The tension was good anyway.

Enjoyable!

So apparently I listened to this one out of order from the others... Thankfully the story makes perfect sense as a standalone. I enjoyed this book. It is believable and has a story that one can easily get engrossed in. Also, the fact that it is shorter than some doesn't take away from the overall story. One of my favorites of the new year!

Great story!

Ahhhh Rhett...good guy...he doesn’t believe in cheating and, even though he is attracted to his neighbor Indie, she has a bf so is off-limits.
Indie has been with Tony since hs...their mothers are bff and so it was only natural that their only children would pair up. However, the relationship has been ‘off’ for several years now and they’re more like roommates. Tony’s always working and doesn’t seem to care about spending time with Indie. When the hot new neighbor moves in, Indie is attracted to him but keeps fighting the inevitable break up with Tony. Meanwhile, a friendship blossoms between Rhett and Indie...we eventually get an HEA but not before some hurdles. Looking forward to more in this series.
