Excellent

I was caught up from the get-go in this audio book. I couldn't stop listening once I started and lost a lot of sleep in the process. Nat and Ethan were perfect together and Annmarie was a complete surprise. I never saw her coming! You won't be disappointed in this novel or the series.

If you like suspense, you will love this.

Elizabeth Dyer writes books I like to read. They’re well written, action-packed, and have a good dose of humour, sexy-times, and emotion. I like that they’re longer than your average romance book – at least the ones I’ve been listening to lately. She doesn’t skimp on the details – she builds the suspense and you can’t help but become invested in the story and the characters. I legit laughed, cried, swooned, and cursed during this book. I loved characters. I hated characters. I had theories and I had excuses. I love when a book can cause those types of reactions and Elizabeth’s writing is a joy to get lost in.
After listening to Defenseless and falling in love with the story and Elizabeth’s writing I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of Relentless and it did not disappoint. Although it is a continuation, as in, it has the same characters and team, and the underlining story arc threaded through it, it is also very much its own book. The premise is completely different. That being said, I wasn’t sure how I was going to react, I just loved Parker and Georgia so much, their dynamic was wonderful, and sometimes, you know, you love book one so much that any others can seem like a let-down, that doesn’t happen here. Ethan and Natalia are wonderful, but in a completely different way, and it worked so perfectly. Natalia is deadly, but she has heart. My heart broke for her on more than one occasion. She’s been through hell, and all for her sister - the love and loyalty she has for her is astounding, so why wouldn’t Ethan fall for her. Ethan, the big bad boss of Somerton Security is knocked off his feet by Natalia and it’s so awesome to see. He’s always been the strong one, shouldering all the responsibility and the blame, seeing him come to terms with the fact that he can’t save everyone was really endearing. I really liked them together, they’re both strong - in different ways and that shone through. Their HEA was hard fought and they deserved it, I loved how Elizabeth had it all come together, it was everything I hoped, and even some I hadn’t even imagined.

I have to say that I loved that we got to see Parker and Georgia. I had the biggest smile on my face when Parker first turned up. I was like, ‘here’s my guy!’ Swoon. I just love him. Getting a glimpse into their continued HEA was fabulous and really gave this book that extra appeal and a dose of sweetness.
I like that each book is a stand-alone that has a story arc that connects them. I am so invested in this series, I cannot wait to see what happens next. Bring on Fearless in November! I am excited to listen to it and see where this story arc takes us.

Aiden Snow is so perfectly cast for this series. His voice just fits the flow and the speed. It’s a pleasure to listen to. The way he uses inflection to alter the character he’s performing is brilliant and he never over does it. It’s always so spot on. He’s able to convey the sweet, with the urgency of the suspense and really pull the reader into the story. I just loved it. The production was great with no issues at all.

Great series !

Couldn't have puta better narrator to have done this book. I would've have enjoyed it though if there had been dual narrating with a female voice also. But Aiden did a fabulous job! Storyline was really good and I can't wait for the next book !

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

Awesome Story, Awesome Narration!

Relentless is a standalone listen and part of a series. Elizabeth Dyer wrote a gripping story that pulled me. Ethan and Natalia are the featured couple in this adventure, with cameo appearances of Parker and Georgia from Defenseless, and mention of Will and Brent. I love a great romantic suspense book, and this one hit every button. The imagery in this book was really well done, and some of the things described were mind boggling, but possible. The narration of this book was spectacular. Aiden Snow has a voice that holds my attention and paints a vivid picture. Several of the characters in this book were very surprising in how cunning they were, others were pure evil, and some were endearing. The phrase Looks can be Deceptive was very fitting for several. This book may seem intimidating to some with its length, but the time flew listening to it. I cannot wait for the next adventure in the Somerton Security series. I loved the twists that were included in this book, and how it ended.

Relentless

Holy cow! This book will take you on a roller coaster and back with emotions. I loved the two main characters but all the secondary ones were very intriguing as well. The twists and turns from emotions that no one can really explain until you sit down and really think about it is great. I haven’t listened to the first book in this series and was able to follow perfectly. I will definitely be getting the first and waiting for the third.

Great Series, Great Story, Great Narration!

This is the second book in the Somerton Security Series. This story can be listened as a standalone, but you won't regret it if you listen to Defenseless before (Parker and Georgia's story). This story, like the first book, is so well written, suspenseful, intriguing, fast-paced, action packed and entertaining. It's also, a beautiful love story. I was hooked from the first page to the end. I love the main characters, Ethan and Natalia. They are both strong, reliable and intelligent. It's a very good Romantic Military Suspense. This is the kind of book you want to slow down your listening, just not to go too fast in the end (yes, even if it's an 11 hours audiobook!!). Now, I can't wait for the next book in the Series and really hope it would be Will's story. I also hope we'll get it soon! The narration was absolutely well done and easy to listen. I love Aiden Snow's voice.

He didn’t plan on finding the woman of his dreams in the process, but there she is Natalia Vega the niece of the man he is trying to bring down. Where do her loyalties lie, can he trust her to help and what of their hearts in the end will they survive the wreckage.
Aidan Snow was the narrator of this audible book and did a great job.
