Spice storyline

Not much happens until the end of the book. No spice until halfway through the book. That said the performance was very good. My investment in the series will keep me coming back for more

Love the series

I love this series and this latest book was as great as the rest. Well written, good character development, and sexy but most of all, just a wonderful story. The next book can’t come out fast enough!

I’m invested

It was really good! The story is getting very interesting though I was sad because I didn’t hear much of an update on my fav couple (eros and psyche) maybe next book 😢 I’m hoping for extra content for valentines day on this series in katees newsletter ❤️

A knight in shining armor and a headstrong queen!

I would have to say the series takes a little to get through the further more into the series you get. There are good parts and some parts that get annoying but all in all a good book. Cassandra is a headstrong plus size woman who has her own mind and is like a porcupine with everyone EXCEPT Apollo. The lovely and considerate Apollo is the reason that my heart wanted to keep reading this book. Although, the small HEA at the end annoys me because its only the last few pages/minutes and but it warmed my heart. I do look forward to the next book but I have a very slight hesitation.

As always, I love it.

I love the Dark Olympus and Wicked Villains series’. This one did not disappoint and I can’t wait for the next!

Best so far in this series

This was the best book so far in this series. I enjoyed the house party set up for the story. Keeping a nest of vipers locked in together and forcing them to play antiquated games really amped up the intrigue and tension. I also appreciated that Cassandra and Apollo were on each other’s side from the very beginning rather than rivals. The dynamic between them was the best part of the story.

Worth the wait

I’ve waited months for this book to come out and it was well worth the wait. Couldn’t put it down much like the others. I loved the mystery, I loved the cat and mouse with Cassandra and Apollo. Just fantastic!

Swoon!

This was so worth the wait! I am absolutely obsessed with Apollo. I can’t wait for the next one.

Wasn’t my favorite but ….

I can’t say that it was terrible because I would be lying but it wasn’t my favorite. I did connect with the story line the romance between two main characters was different but I like it . It did move very slow but overall I would read it again .

Another fun trip to Olympus

While in the midst of this audiobook, I couldn’t for the life of me remember Apollo & Cassandra’s mythological story, and now, having only just looked it up prior to writing this review, I can say, “I get it now!” 🤣

Cassandra has worked for Apollo for the past five years, but each have been secretly pining for the other the. whole. time…

Well, with all that is going on in Olympus, a plan is concocted that requires them to “fake date” and wouldn’t you know it, not everything is fake!

I liked the two of them together, and it was so cute as they slowly came clean about their true feelings for on another (especially Apollo, the ‘ole softie).

And things with Olympus are definitely getting interesting, so i’m excited to see how the 13 are going to deal with the repercussions! 👀

As usual, both Zara Hampton-Brown and Alex Moorcock were wonderful narrators, and definitely hope they continue on with the series!
