Mostly smut

The smut starts before you are 15 minutes in. Lol. It’s not a bad story (a little repetitive at times). The plot really doesn’t come into play until later in the book. Happy reading!!!

okay so....

first and foremost, I know a lot of people said the woman who narrates this was cringy but I gotta disagree. admittedly, at the beginning I was like mehh... it's kinda cringy BUT this woman should be proud of her performance lol I know none of us could have done this book as serious. the book itself.... meh. the plotline is very weak. the smut is 👌👌🔥🔥 I liked it. although, it jumped into it very fast and the amount of it was slightly too much. it's like... every 20mins lmao. the only thing I really really didn't like was too often the character would speak about things that's already happened like a... "previously on... court of the vampire queen"... like she would retell details, in detail like we hadn't already been reading it the last 10hrs... I KNOW what happened and I KNOW why it's happening lol you don't need to reexplain. it's almost like shes overcompensating to make sure you know why this is happening and to defend why? idk... I feel like had she done a lot less of that and put more effort into the actual plot line details, there would have been a much better story with some dope ass smut. and in my opinion... I understand why that one thing became the primary mission (don't wanna say exactlt what bc I don't wanna spoil anything for someone who is gunna read this) but I hated that it was such a big focus on doing that one thing in order to prove to the compound.... for someone who doesn't want said thing like at all... it was super off putting. idk, the book wasn't the worst but it 100000% could have been better.

Very Smutty!

I really like this book, but I like a lot of action. The plot is not the star in this book, so if you like pure smut then I highly recommend!

Great Sexy read

I freaking love!!!!!! This book I can listen to this over and over again!!! And have lol

Intensely hot right off the bat

This book is all about the spice right from the beginning and there's lots of blood play and powers in this PNR RH. The author builds the story between the romance though so it keeps your interest. I periodically found myself frustrated by the main characters rehashing of past plot points in her inner monologue but that may have been accentuated by the fact that I tend to binge listen, making the "reminders" unnecessary for me.

An absolute favorite!! I'm not even a vampire fan

I heard so much about this book, I just had to try it. I'm not even a fan of vampires usually, but this one was just SO good! There was lotssss of spice, while still maintaining a great plot and ending.

Repetitive

If you’re here for nothing but smut. This is for you. But smut and good writing…not so much. There a lot of repetitiveness that made me want to stop reading. The main character didn’t need to reiterate certain things EVERY.FREAKING.CHAPTEr…There was also a few contradictions. As another reviewer wrote…it gives my first smutty fanfic vibes.

Be prepared for all the spice and not a whole lot of plot. The plot that’s there is very predictable and at times repetitive. But if your in the mood for a steamy read, it’s good for that!

Very good voice! Loved it

Story was a little lacking not a lot of plot mostly spicy. Very good characters tho loved them all!

Intense power 

The connection between the characters was outstanding, wish had more point of view from male characters, but loved the overall story good spice, sweet romance. wished there was more action.
