In my pursuit of pleasure and partying, I had ignited an addiction worse than any forest fire. After five arrests, a dozen allegations, a v-squad of cop cars chasing me down center street, and years of worshipping all the wrong things led me to the brink of death, I finally found hope in life. This is a story of how the initially enthralling, and sometimes humorous, pursuits of drugs, sex, and success cannot satisfy in the way that they promise, but there is one who can.

Amazing Description of Life's Pleasure & Purpose
This book includes dozens of examples of God's love and kindness towards those who struggle or suffer from addiction. There are many powerful examples for those whose lives have been filled with trials and tragedy. While it is hard to comprehend all of the miracles that took place to protect Michael from his addictions, the way in which these stories are told is nothing short of astounding!

Great book.
This book was great! The structure was amazingly well done, especially with this being his first book. You don't typically find this caliber of capability in an author's first book, or even in some authors' 20th book lol

inspirational, well thought out and executed.
Not particularly religious myself, finding myself relating on a lot of points, I do struggle with some of the religious aspect but can look past that and the value this book can bring. I appreciate the perspective and the struggles the author describes. it's very eye opening on what causes addiction and the downward slope it can bring upon anyone.

I’m left confused and uncertain
Is it ok for a cleansed and washed sinner to use terms like:
“Better than sex without a condom”
“Doing Ketamine off a girls butt”
Plus lots of other descriptive terms.
I see no clear defining point where true repentance of sin took place.
Lots of talk of struggling with habits. LOTS.
I HIGHLY recommend “No Compromise” by Melody Green. That book eclipses this one.
