Soon, the knowledge Phlox and Leon obtain leads to a dangerous, mentally unstable djinn, who has a vicious master holding its leash. Although history claims djinns are all-powerful, indestructible creatures, Phlox and Leon must find the secret to their destruction if they are to save Rutherford Haven's citizens. If they can't, Rutherford Haven will be the first to fall, but it won't be the last.

Phlox will dig his shifter claws into anyone who dares threaten his mate, and Leon will tear the heart out of anyone who dares threaten his beloved—his purrfectly peculiar pixie.

Purrfectly Peculiar Pixie is the fifth and final book in the Perfect Pixie series, which should be enjoyed in order. Purrfectly Peculiar Pixie features an emotionally constipated vampire, a pixie who's far more than he appears, witches and trolls with questionable morals, an alpha werewolf whose time on planet Earth is precariously close to its end, a (questionably) good djinn, an (unquestionably) sinister djinn, an interesting necromancer, and all our previously beloved characters coming together to prove that teamwork really does make the dream work.

Purrfectly Peculiar Pixie contains homicide of the fantasy kind (no humans were killed in the making of this book) with scenes describing death and killing.

Love the Pixies

Loved entire book. Always enjoy catching up with Wendell and “Hellfire Rayburn” Enjoyed hearing about all the characters, we’ve met.

I love this series.

I loved how different Phlox was to other pixies and the relationship with Leon was indeed puuuurfect. I had never heard of a Pallas cat but resting Pallas cat face has become a thing in my house. I was also thrilled with the epilogue. From the secondthe author introduced Erasmus, I was smitten. I am impatiently waiting for the next book.

What a great start to a series!!!

Someone on Facebook recommended this series. I purchased the first book to see if I liked it and I DID!!! I'm so glad for the recommendation I received. After listening to book one I couldn't wait to see what happened next, so I bought the entire series. I binged listened to all five books back to back.

Now, if you're looking for a book with a lot of heat this is not that... and you will probably be disappointed. For me it's all about the story, the characters, and the ability to keep the story/series moving and keeping me engaged.

MJ May is a new to me author and I plan on checking out more of their books. I loved the narration with Tor Thom and Cooper North, they both did a fantastic job.

I can't wait to read Erasmus' book in the series Necromancer Tales.

Charming story and characters

Very cute little story which isn’t just an MM romance but a family story as well (although not quite suitable for children - it almost could be). I really enjoyed the story, the characters and the world that MJ created. The whole series is great!

Perfectly entertaining series

The whole series has been fun. Delightfully different. I may have put that in an earlier review. It’s what goes through my mind every time I think about the series.
This book definitely opens the door for the next. Impatiently waiting for more.

Beautiful series

I love this series! I can visualize each character so easily and they are all so beautiful and unique. I'm glad we got more of all the other characters in this bookas well. I absolutely love Ray and Wendel, so it was nice to get a glimpse of how their story continued.
I have to say, I do miss the sexy scenes. The first few books had full sexy time scenes and I feel like they even added to the story. I like the books either way, but I do miss the extra spice the first few books had.

Good story. Good narration.

If you have been enjoying the rest of the series, this book is a must read. Phlox is an interesting sort of pixie, and I liked getting to know him. The romance was once again a mild element of the story. The focus was more on the characters and plot. The resolution was fairly satisfying, and the narration was performed well.

I really liked the story. I hope these characters make appearances in other stories or that we get to visit them again. The narrators gave good performances
