It’s been a while since I’ve listened to a multicast narration so it took me a chapter to settle in to the various character voices. Once I did, I absolutely loved it! Each talented voice actor brought a top-notch performance to the booth. Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Winston James, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, and Aryann Michele were perfectly cast to bring this fun love story off the page.

Funny, spicy, romantic hockey story

Ooh boy! This is a spicy, funny ‘why choose’ hockey story. This is not normally my favorite trope, but I really enjoyed this story.

Danielle has a disastrous blind date at a hockey game. As a result, she has 3 distinctly different interactions with 3 swoony men. The story immediately kicks into high gear. There’s insta-love, funny banter, golden retriever and grumpy/sunshine vibes. Danielle’s suiters could not be more different but the genuine friendship that develops between them was terrific. I really liked that Danielle was her own strong, independent woman and not just a plaything to these men.

There are laugh out loud moments and downright spicy scenes while these 4 navigate their way through their new normal. However, at the core this is a romance story and so well told.

Multicast narration performed as a duet just added so much to the story. I was entertained from start to finish.

Fantastic Multi Cast Narration

The audiobook was performed in duet by a multiple cast and I am SO glad I got to revisit book 1! Every narrator picked was a fantastic choice and did a great job of bringing each person to life. Also, the narration just enhanced the hilarity, spice, and personality of each character.

This book was very entertaining and spicy. I had a great time listening to it and the majority of the time I was blushing and giggling. It's a why choose, so dive in with caution because we will get 3 gorgeous men that are willing to share and put all their differences and possessiveness aside as long as they get a moment with her. I highly recommend you to check out this book if you love why choose. This is a full cast which is one of my deeply favorites narration. Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Winston James, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, and Aryann Michele did an excellent job narrating this book.

✨The beginning of this sexy foursome. Danielle goes into a hockey match where she meets Crew, her best friend's brother who has been crushing on her for a while, and they end up having a "kiss cam" kiss. Then, she met Michael, the doctor in charge of the Chicago racketeers, and they bonded through their love of literature. Lastly, she had a sexually charged encounter with Nathan, the sexy older billionaire, who owned the Racketeers. The men were instantly smitten with her and started to pursue her aggressively. Initially, they had some jealousy and antagonistic tendencies, especially between Nathan and Crew who already had a rocky relationship to begin with.

💭I enjoyed this series, it was a steamy ride from start to finish! It follows the journey of these foursomes as they navigate their way through an unconventional and very public relationship. The chemistry between the characters is electric, and the story is both entertaining and engaging. It’s a refreshing take on romance, filled with spicy moments and heartfelt connections. If you’re looking for a read that’s both adventurous and full of heat, this one is definitely worth picking up!

This was a fantastic experience! The full-cast narration made it super easy to get lost in the story without ever getting confused about who was speaking. For a "why choose" hockey romance, having different voices for each character was perfect. It added so much depth and made the whole experience more immersive. Every cast member nailed their roles, bringing the characters to life in such a fun way. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s into this genre. They really did an amazing job!

Puck One Night Stands is a different kind of romance. This book is my first polyamorous, I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about this trope. It does leave me wondering, what was the story?

I liked the characters, Dani sure did score big time but so did Nathan, Michael and Crew. I liked how each of the guys provided something different. I like how Michael can bring them all together, Nathan is the good in bed guy and Crew makes her laugh, she can have fun with him. I love the banter between Nathan and Crew, It'd funny and hilarious.

Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Winston James, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas and lastly, Aryann Michele did an awesome job giving this characters a voice and for bringing this whole book to life.

If you have a chance give this book a whirl.

Great why choose hockey romance!

Puck One Night Stands is a why choose romance romcom centered around a hockey team which kicks off the Chicago Racketeers series. Through a series of mishaps on a disastrous blind date at a hockey game Dani finds herself firmly in the focus of three very different men. Nathan is the grumpy owner of the hockey team who spots her first when he hands her VIP tickets. Michael is the team doctor who is a confident, calm presence and holds everything together. Crew is the fun hockey player who is also Dani’s brother’s best friend. This steamy why-choose is forbidden on so many levels and just delicious! Dani is finally learning what it’s like to be the focus. Each of them brings something different to the relationship and I really loved how it evolved and how they all communicated and agreed on how to proceed. Definitely some hilarious scenes, great banter, and plenty of heat.

Narration is done by a full cast including Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Winston James, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, Aryann Michele. Several new voices for me and I really enjoyed their performances.

Dani's love life has hit a rough patch ever since her ex made her feel bad for speaking her truth. When this quirky crew realizes they all have eyes for Dani, they team up to cook up a plan that just might bring joy to everyone. The only hurdle left? Getting Dani on board with their mischievous scheme!

Fun and Captivating Why Choose Hockey Romance

First in series it reads as a full stand alone. If I didn't know there were more books available, I would have been very satisfied with the story ending where it did.

Danielle is a lucky lucky girl. She is talked into a date with a friend of a friend and it's a double with her BFF at a hockey game. At the end of the game she has 3 men associated with the team very interested in her.

I love why choose romance because you can have a variety of heroes that stimulate and compliment the heroine's personality in different ways. And who wouldn't want to be chased by 3 amazing men who fall hard and fast.

Nathan is the owner of the team, he's a bossy billionaire who goes after what he wants and gets his way at all times (including the bedroom).
Michael is the doctor on the team, he wants to care for Danielle, wine and dine and appeal to her on a more sophisticated level. He sees her book loving writer side and wants to help nurture that passion (by providing inspiration).
Crew is her best friend's little brother. He's a star hockey player recently traded back to the home town team and he's been crushing on Dani for as long as he's known her. He's energetic and full of life wanting to make her smile and laugh. I love his golden retriever "I can share no problem" attitude. For him, it really is all about Dani's happiness as long as he can hold her and call her his, he has no issues.

The audiobook was performed in duet by a full cast. We have Sebastian York, Penelope Rose, Zachary Johnson, Winston James as our 4 main characters. We also have supporting performances from AM Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas & Aryann Michele. Most of these were new to me narrators but they fit their characters so well. I was able to lose myself in the story and just go with the flow as they learned to share, work as a team and found a groove that brought them to their HEA. Laughs and swooning are definitely included.

I will definitely want to continue the series and see what comes next for this group.

Who says public humiliation can’t make for an interesting meet cute? This dynamic cast of narrators: Sebastian York, Penelope Rose, Zachary Johnson, Winston James, AM Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, and Aryann Michele did a phenomenal job of bringing Nathan, Michael, Crew, and Danielle’s why choose story to life. It was a fun listen and I can’t wait to dive into book two.
