Experienced well

Overall, the book is very informative with Portuguese basic grammar and vocabulary. There are also translations about time, days of the week, months, numbers and usual sentences. It covered a considerable amount of topics in the Portuguese language.

Marvelously insightful

One week is enough for me to learned some Portuguese. Best for the Beginners especially for me. If you already learned Portuguese and needs to go deeper.

I definitely would recommend this book

I really like this book. I speak some Portuguese so I can see that these are real Portuguese translations. I like the various phrases used as examples too. There are so many things I like about this book, I'm REALLY glad that I purchased it.

Just amazing

Great, easy to learn and complete with CD. I bought it to teach my son (8 years) and he really enjoy it. I recommended it!

Nice cover

The author guides you through general conversation, numbers, directions and transportation. There are sections on eating out, hotels, and shopping. This is an excellent phrase book!!! If you are planning on going to Portugal, you must carry this book with you!

well written book

Overall a pretty comprehensive guide which I will happily loan to family and friends, as we've recommended this trip to everyone! We did not use it for the hotel recommendations as I had already booked all of those reservations using Trip Advisor, which has more live reviews.

This book is awesome

I only know some Spanish words but not exactly the tenses. This is very useful on enhancing my skills in this language. This comes in detail. It was organized well. It will not be too hard for me to understand and speak.

It's a nice learning languages book

Not the best way to learn Portuguese. Most of the work is done with the book and I needed something more practical in an audio form to assist me in the pronunciation and conversational sense.

So far so good. I am just starting to learn Brazilian Portuguese and things are going well.
