Very good book to use if you are learning Portuguese. I like the exercises where I can do them and look up the answers in the back...Each lesson gives just enough new material so you aren't overwhelmed.

This is a well-structured book; I feel I have learnt a lot from it. I would have given it 5 stars if it had included tenses other than the present tense.

Good

This audiobook covers the most basic understanding of the Portuguese language. When I visited Brazil not too long ago, I had trouble communicating with the locals. Didn’t realize how much of a problem communication barrier would be until I experienced such a catastrophe first hand. Pronunciation, grammar, time/date, colors, numbers and greetings are some areas this book focuses on.

Easy to understand, clear instructions and everything is fine and dandy. Yes, you can learn a couple of phrases, but to actually learn the language... overall you’ll get a good book for the price. Price matches quality.

I'm getting a lotta practice with the verbs tenses and conjugations, etc. It's definitely helping me with constructing sentences. Couldn't have asked for a better workbook!

Good Job

I've been studying Portuguese for the past few months, and I feel that this workbook is very helpful for my progress. I don't understand why other people are giving harsh reviews, saying that this is too basic or whatever. After all, the title of this book does say 'Basic Portuguese', which means it's most suited for beginners.
