Rupert Everett (The Happy Prince, My Best Friend’s Wedding) stars as Captain Hook alongside Adeel Akhtar (Four Lions, Killing Eve) as Smee, Gerran Howell (Catch-22, Emerald City) as Peter Pan and Eleanor Worthington Cox (Maleficent, Britannia) as Wendy alongside a full cast.

To mark the launch of this drama, Audible will be donating to Great Ormond Street Hospital, to whom J.M. Barrie unexpectedly and generously gifted his copyright of Peter Pan.

Wonderful Voice Acting

The voice acting was superb. I particularly enjoyed Rupert Everett as Captain Hook, but all the performances were great.

This was the first book I completed on Audible and it was a perfect introduction to the medium.

You won't be disappointed. Much better than the cartoon movies of Disney. I was hesitant at first but I enjoyed the audio production of treasure Island so I thought this might be as good. It was.

Wonderful

We listened to this on the way to Florida and it kept our sons attention the whole time. The actors were wonderful.

Must read for kids of all ages.

Well done, but why the gay twist?

Why did they have to add a gay relationship between Hook and Smee? It's great otherwise.

Wish the story went deeper.

I'm not sure what I was expecting? The performance was excellent, but the story was very surface and a little boring. I struggled to get through this classic. I'm not sure if it's because this was the dramatized version so the story was shortened? I wish there was more story and character development. Took me all month just to finish it.

great for the whole family

This is lots of fun for full families. It feels more like a performance than a reading which the kids really enjoyed.

FANTASTIC!

I absolutely love that all my kids (12, 8, and 6) and I can enjoy audiobooks together and that everyone is so engaged with the book (theatrical performance). This was fabulous and we hated to turn it off. The performances were great and really put us in the story with Peter, Wendy, Hook, and the Lost Boys. My kids have already asked me what the next book is that we will be listening too.

Peter Pan

I enjoyed this Audible Original. It reminds me of the Treasure Island Audible Original. It reminds me of a fun performance.

excellent cast performance

the cast was wonderful - I loved everything about this. captain hook in particular was a delight to listen to.
