Perfect Storm - Artair & Skye

This is a great book with the best narrators!! Love the Scottish readers and as always Jolies books draw you in. Ella brings an innocence and humor to Skyes character. Frank has that deep Scottish brogue that brings Artair to life. It's a must listen!!!!!!

Our first McRae lass!

This is the first story about a female member of the McRae family and her journey to love. I always enjoy next gen stories when we get to see female children come in to their own, because they have a large task ahead of them to find a man as worthy as their fathers. Artair was a perfect fit to join the McRae family. He’s protective and sweet and I loved that he was smitten with Skye from the very beginning.

I’ve read this book multiple times and have been anxiously awaiting the audio. I think this is the best pairing of voices to date of all the McRae audiobooks. I love Frank Ryan for the McRae men and Ella Lynch did a wonderful Scottish accent. I loved experiencing the story in a different way.

So Good!

There's something different about reading the words on the page, then listening to the audiobook. I have a new found appreciation for Jolie's books now. The narrators really brought Skye and Artair to life, and it's actually quite nice for me to put voices to the characters. It helps bring them to life, to give the characters more of a form in my mind. I can see the scenes more clearly now, and I love this. I'm not usually one to listen to audio books, but Jolie may be converting me to listening to more. The story was such a good one, and now that it's in audiobook form, I love it even more.

book. Frank Ryan’s Scottish accent was swoon worthy. Ella Lynch did a great job too. And, of course the story line is by Jolie Vines which is always wonderful! I highly recommend getting this. You will enjoy it too.

What a great audio book!!

I loved reading this book but I think listening to it just topped that and that doesnt happen(at least for me haha)!! I loved how Ella brought Skye to life and how Frank definitely sounded like what I thought Artair would sound like!! Again, I think I could have listened to them both all day(especially Frank haha)!! I think Jolie should definitely keep Frank for her Scottish main characters he has a lovely voice!! I just love Ella too so both were great choices!! Such a great book, both in the written and audio form, now all we need is a movie version for a trifecta haha!!

story was well written and very well narrated. looking forward to more from this author. will also look for more from the voice actors
