Compelling Story

Well written and good characters. This book leaves me wanting more of Meg's story. I hope there is another forthcoming.

Amazing Story

I wasn't sure about this book when I first started reading it. I love the Hollows and was ok with the Drafter. This story was amazing. Without giving spoilers, what you think the story is about changes several times.
I went from not being sure about this novel to hoping there will be another book as I am curious what will happen next. I would suggest this book to others. Give it a chance. It may not be for everyone but I think it's one of the best books Ive read this year

not the hollows

This is not the hollows but then nothing else is. although predictable the story held my interest. while the characters are less charming the subject is real and you don't need to suspend your disbelief too far.

Mental Health Journey

I tried to listen to this but it's just not my cup of tea. I ended up skipping to the end to find out how it ended. No spoilers but this would be the kind of story that someone would enjoy if they enjoy characters working though mental health issues. Mental health is important but we don't all enjoy reading it and that's okay. I've listened to this narrator with a different author and she is a great narrator!

a strange fever dream

what did i just listen to? was it a psychological thriller? urban fantasy? commentary on mental illness? i don't know and that's not a bad thing necessarily. im left with more questions than answers about this story and again, that's not a bad thing. definitely unexpected from my favorite author!

Not for me

I really tried to like this book but I couldn't. I didn't like any of the characters and couldn't finish the book.
