Side character focus
This volume was mostly focused on side characters, and it takes a break to catch up with some characters of importance from past volumes. Personally, I very much enjoy long reads with a in depth look at side characters, so for me, this was a perfect volume.

love this series
Overlord has easily become my favorite Light Novel series. It very well done far as evil overlord takes over the world.

Really charming 🥰
I love this series it's easy to digest and entertaining, unfortunately not much happened in this book, but I am still looking forward to the next one

Better stuff to come
I love this series! Unfortunately I feel this part in the light novels is kind of it’s low point I still loved the audiobook but am looking forward to the next part in this story for sure . Not the best of the volumes .

No action but still enjoyable.

attention to detail and description
I love this storyline. It's so different from other similar books. He isn't looking for escape but rather wants to enjoy what he has in this new world.

Fun As Always
I always think of these as an entertaining supplement to the anime, rather than the other way around. I like getting the extra background information that these provide, but the anime is a superior product. The stiff translation and terrible narration always makes the dialogue so awkward, but I'm sure we are all used to that by now. Anyway, keep them coming, please!

Great narration on one of my favorite light novels. Can't wait for volume nine.
Also to one of the previous reviews, it has to be said that these books were written a while ago, and are what the anime is based off of not the other way around. The reading of them as an audiobook experience is the only new part.
