They’ve stolen my body. They’ve stolen my voice. They’ve stolen my spirit. I have nothing left to give.
When Ava is rescued from the cruel clutches of her alpha father and the omega compound, her future is already set in stone. Shattered, traumatized, and hurting, she hides away from the world with the help of the Grey pack.
Max, Lucien, Nikolai, and Bastien have their own pain to heal from, but the tiny omega in their midst gives them hope for a better life, a new life. If only Ava could see that, too.
When the darkness of their world threatens to destroy them, Ava must decide where she stands. With help from old friends and the support of her pack, it’s time to fight back and make her voice heard.
Who will be left standing when the omega creed falls?

Totally everything!!!!

Omega’s have zero rights. Animals have more rights and treated better than an Omegas.
So when one of the MMC sees this Omega in the hospital while he’s posing as a doctor see the injustice of what’s going on with her and knows he has to get her out of there. He risks himself and the secrets of his own pack to save her.
Normally, I’m not into pregnancy tropes, I actually hate them. But….. this isn’t about her pregnancy or a forced relationship or anything BS like that. He knows that this situation is totally unacceptable and has to save her or she’s dead.
It’s about the inhumane shit the Omega’s live with and deal with in the world and the trauma.
It’s about setting the world right again. I absolutely loved it. It’s not just about her pregnancy, which pregnancy tropes tend to do. Thank goodness. Troy Duran can read me the ingredients of laundry soap and I would melt. So yeah the narration by both narrators is well done! 😜
Great addition to the series

But then, this book brought attention to a few issues, all typical in pararomance stories these days.
The biggest issue, as freaking always, is the redundant phrases. It happens enough here that you’ll start to focus on the author’s favorite phrases and listen for the next time they’re used.
The second issue is the lack of continuity. The LFCs are initially very broken, meek, and subservient. But a brush with a well-meaning alpha. And suddenly they’ve grown balls? This has happened on each story so far. The writer doesn’t take the time to show the LFC’s growth or self-realization. Nah, let’s just pretend she didn’t have her dignity and pride stripped away at all.
I’m sensing a pattern.
Third, this is yet ANOTHER series where the set-up for the next book is written into the current one. This drives me crazy.
Lastly, these weak, narcissistic alphas…once they’ve found their “perfect” omega…completely forget about the apparent legion of omegas still trapped on the same situation as their fair omegas were.
Idk. The narration is nice, so that’s a plus. The situations are a nice twist on the omegaverse stance. I don’t think I’ll buy the next audiobook or recommend it, though.
Great, but Redundant
