Good but a bit short

I had high hopes for this book. I have already finished the seaside wolf pack series and loved it so I hoped this book would be just as good. I wasn't disappointed at all. My only complaint would be that the story felt a little short. Beyond that, I can definitely say I'm a fan and excited to start the next in the series. I love this author's work and I cant wait for the rest of the series.

This review is book 1 & 2

So the books aren't bad, I assumed it was RH, but it's not really, very PG rated. No spice at all. The 3rd book isn't available on audio anywhere either which sucks because book 2 ends on a cliffhanger so I now have to buy the digital book to find out what happens. I probably will read the last because I liked the story enough to want to know what happens. FMC comes from a pack of abusive rapist males in book 1 and had to learn to trust her new "pack", she wants to be a badass, but is still kind of soft in some ways, but toughens up in book 2. Narration was very good, I love Troy Duran which is why I gave this book chance. The female did a great job too. So overall it was a good book for a free read, not much romance at all. So if you're looking for a spicy RH, this isn't it!

I loved this book, the author did an awesome job with this book. I could not put it down. I wanted more. The narrator did an awesome job. I hope they come out with the second on audiobook asap. Job well done.

Loved it

Loved her whole series was kind of sad that the third book was not an audio. I tend to listen everything fast so to me it didn’t seem slow.

Started off great!

This had a really exciting start. I appreciated the time that was spent on Lori, her struggle and her determination. I was truly rooting for her. I was happy there was no spice as the story really had me interested! Unfortunately things really slowed down after Lori began settling down with the boys.

There's no tags or description blurbs to indicate this is a why choose / RH but alot of the dialog suggests these 4 males or atleast 2 of them are falling for Lori and her them.. I'm not into why choose or harem romances so I wish I had more of a warning. The interest here feels especially biological too as Lori is literally the only female any of these males have been around since they were kicked out their pack and these are the only males she's been around since freshly becoming of breeding age. So it's hard to think any of the romance in this book as romantic or adorable when they're all just responding to never explored instincts/ biology.

Everything just fell a bit flat here. The story, characters, romance, stakes... Appreciate the free listen though. Troy Duran is always a delight.

This is a fantasy werewolf story. Interesting listen and I always love heather costa but the story line is a bit dull and predictable.

slow but good

yes I did like the book. it is a little slow and the interactions with the guys I wish would've grown stronger faster.

Great book, but slow!

I really enjoyed this book but I felt Lori (MC), never gets a break. I did really enjoy the characters, storyline and not the typical werewolf book.

fun read

easy storyline to follow. kept me interested the entire time. loved the character development. liked how it was different from other shifter books I've read

Terrible characters. Terrible plot. Terrible conversations. Terrible interpersonal connections. Soo bad. Plus the audio keep cutting off.
