Magnificent ending to an epic love story

This story makes you feel everything and the narrators did a fantastic job of making it more real. This is book 4 and is not a standalone.

Adam and Olivia? Do you mean Evander and Rowan?

Because they’re both perfect and I love them. Adam was an amazing choice to put a voice to Evander and I could seriously just listen to him 24/7. I do have to say though, it’s much easier to listen to Olivia speaking the male parts in her chapters than it is to listen to Adam try to sound like Ro. I giggle every time.

This series is the one that got me hooked on Audibles and it just keeps getting better. And that’s after having read the entire series first. My heart and ears are so happy.

Great Conclusion!

January 2023 Re-Read on Audio: I still love this story and these characters. As usual, audio is just as enjoyable for me but it gives you a different experience when to hear the emotions being spoken aloud. I have enjoyed Olivia King’s narration through all four books and also enjoyed the added narration from Adam Gold doing the chapters from Evander’s perspective. Highly recommend if you live fantasy romance.

Original Review: What a whirlwind of a story and fantastic conclusion to Rowan’s story! I had no idea how this was going to resolve but the authors did a great job wrapping up the story. I’m not usually a crier with books but this one almost got me in several places. There is a lot of character development in this book as Rowan and Evander learn how to be married all while dealing with the threat of death coming from multiple fronts. Definitely worth your time. My ONLY complaint is that I wanted a longer or further out in time epilogue.

An absolutely perfect and fitting conclusion for Rowan and Evander. I became so caught up and attached to these characters, this is just one of those stories that stays with you long after you finish reading it.
The audio narration is phenomenal and I highly recommend!!

Olivia has done an amazing job bringing this series to life through Rowan's eyes and adding Adam for the male POV chapters for this final book was just, dare I say, perfect!
I love this series so much and experiencing it again through these audiobooks has been fabulous!

Obsidian Throne is the satisfying conclusion to an engrossing series that has become one of my favorites! Olivia King's narration for the entire series has been perfection. The addition of Adam Gold for this final audiobook takes it to a whole new level! Enjoy!

perfect ending

oh my stars, I couldn't have loved this conclusion to the Lochlan series any more. what an ending. there was intense story line, battles, laughter, tears, and spice! I loved the growth and sadness and renewal of Evander and Ro's love story as they traversed married life. Ro is the absolute perfect fit for Evander. she challenges him, stretches his belief in himself and in how fiercely he loves her. Evander helps Ro to be her best version. he lifts her up and endeavors to have people see them as close to equal as Soccair can handle...always pushing the limits for her! I love how protective Evander is and also how protective of Evander Ro is. Can not wait to see what Robin and Elle have in store for this series next!!! 😍

Love this series

I can’t even explain how much I loved this series and how disappointed I am that it’s over!! Spin-off series please? The chemistry between characters alongside the amazingly creative and exciting plot keeps this series at the top of my list. I love the way the author allows us to feel the emotions rather than just telling. The whole series is just incredible and I will definitely be re-listening in a few months.

Loved it!

Of course we knew Rowan wouldn't sit quietly and let this play out without her, she is her mother's daughter! This was a beautiful conclusion to the Lochlann Feuds series, although I didn't want it to end! Olivia King is probably my favorite narrator of all times, and Adam Gold did a fabulous job as Evander. I could read about the Scarlett Princess and her tall, dark, broody piece of "man meat" over and over!

epic ending to an epic series

I have loved every book in this series and this book is no exception. loved the addition of the male narrator. Olivia's work was stellar as always!
