Hot, Hot, Hot…This book is full of surprises and is a good read/ listen but…I hate that it ends in a cliffhanger and no follow up! WTH Shandi you can’t leave your listeners like this…We need the next book asap! Is there a book 2 in the near future? I don’t know since there’s no mention of book two, ugh.

Good story
Loved the story line, author can be repetitive and could find other ways to say the same thing instead of using the exact same verbiage but the storyline is interesting. Did get annoyed with the narrator. She seemed to be inconsistent with character voice and narration voice and honestly her voice for the main character made her sound like an annoying kid which didn’t do well with this kind of story.

Enjoyed the story BUT…
I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. I cannot stand the narrator’s voice. With her voice-the story just didn’t seem to flow. It was monotonous sounding. No highs no lows-flat..

Narration sucks

The story was interesting, but
I felt a bit cheated. There are two narrators listed, so I thought this would be dual POV. The male narrator had about 3 minutes at the very end. The female narrator is not my favorite. Her accents were decent, but emotion and tone? Not so much. Also, watch out for the cliff …
