The female narrator…. 🥴

Her voice is annoying is mess. It’s whiny. It’s like she’s trying to be seductive or something. It’s unnatural. I loved the male narrator and the story. The only reason I finished the book is because I love A. L. Jackson’s books.

unexpectedly emotional read for me

What an unexpectedly emotional read! I was blown away by the depth of the characters and the lengths they went to and things they went through. I love the fight each of them had and how the push and pull between them was so well balanced.
The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life.

Never Look Back is a second chance love story that is exploding with emotion. The beautiful, romantic prose will have you feeling EVERYTHING. With a past that tore them apart due to lies, betrayal and misconceptions, Logan and Aster are FIRE and their connection is palpable.

“He’d always been my heart’s direction. I wasn’t sure there was anywhere else I could have gone.”

Bound by a promise that forced her into a life she did not want, Aster has just been surviving for seven years. When she sees Logan again, she grasps at the chance to reclaim her life, but will their past destroy them all over again?

Aster broke my heart. She had been through so much pain in her life and yet her spirit was still so beautifully pure. I loved her strength and her determination to fight for what she wanted.

Logan was such a revelation. His charming, full of life, playboy exterior hide a heart that was in pieces. His devotion to Aster was breathtaking and couldn’t be denied even when he pretending to hate her.

“We were always supposed to be together. We just got lost along the way.”

The journey that these traveled was excruciatingly difficult and it was rife with pain and heartbreak, but watching them rebuild their relationship gave me all the feels. Their passionate banter and sizzling chemistry leapt of the page.

“Everything I’d ever done had been done for her. Every lie told in her favor.”

I both listened and read this amazing book. The audio is narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Weber. They were superb. Their voices reflected all the emotional turmoil and love that these two characters felt and made me fall in love with the story even more.

Full of angst, emotional and physical trauma, lies, betrayal, revenge, greed, and passion, Aster and Logan’s story will take you on a heartbreaking journey of love and loss. These two faced so much pain and heartache that each were afraid to hope for the future that both thought was lost. Their story is riddled with so much angst yet you know that these two truly belong together and will fight for their chance. This is a stunning conclusion to the Redemption Series and I loved every minute.

Wow oh wow! Logan is one hunk of man to the bazillionth power! Sexy, bad a%% to the extreme, and just…”sigh” all that. He and Aster have an intense hate/love going on, deep wounds that still hurt, chemistry that still ignites, and feelings that still overtake their whole beings. This is an emotional ride like no other. Not to mention Zachary Webber (😍) and Erin Mallon always an amazing duo together. You will completely love it!

Great story and great narration

Never Look Back is the third book in the Redemption Hills series and was a great addition to the series. It was well written and had me invested from the first to the last chapter.
This is Logan Lawson and Aster Costa’s story and it was everything I was expecting and more. The more I read the more I was drawn into the story that Ms. Jackson wove.
This is a second chance at love story and one that ticked all the boxes for me. Their history is complicated and when they meet again, the sparks are still there. However there are years of hatred and resentment that lie between them. Aster is in a marriage that she is desperate to escape from and she knows that Logan is the only person that can help her. I fell hard and fast for Logan. The chemistry sizzles between them and there were moments where I was on the edge of my seat whilst reading.
Narrated by Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon their voices were easy to listen to and they brought the story and characters to life for me. For me this book is darker than some of Ms.Jackson’s other works and Zachary in particular did justice to this.
Winning Aster in a card came is beyond weird but it is her way out and one she will take. There were a number of twists and turns that will have you turning the pages anxious to see what comes next.
Will this be their chance to come to terms with the past, make peace and embark on a new journey together?

Logan’s HEA!

What is it about these Lawson Men that just make you swoon???? Logan and Aster’s story was beautiful and tragic at the same time..which is kind of A.L.’ s calling card. I really hope Tessa gets her own story! 🙏🏻 The narration was of course amazing, Zachary Weber’s voice is like smooth honey to my ears and Erin Mallon never disappoints. This could quite possibly be my favorite series this year!

A.l brought all the feels as usual. Loved this almost as much as Give me a Reason. You’ll fall in love with the characters.

I absolutely love this author and her ability to both tie me up in knots and make me swoon over her characters all at once.

This is a must listen! The narration is phenomenal and did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life.

Beautiful. Heartwarming. Romantic. Jackson writes the most beautiful romance. The hot scenes aren’t just s•x but they’re romance and poetic words full of love and feelings, and it just makes those hot scenes more entrancing. My heart is so full when I read her stories.

Logan (her North Star) and Aster (his little star) fell in love, a forbidden love. They suffered so much loss and lived empty lives until they found each other again, but there was so much still trying to keep them apart. So much greed and violence. But through it all they fight to be together, because this time they are stronger, made stronger by the loss they suffered and the lives they lived because of it. Especially Aster, that girl grew into such a strong woman.

If you enjoy forbidden love, strong alpha men, beautiful romance and hot passionate scenes, then you will love this book and the whole series of standalone books about the Lawson brothers.
