it was ok

this is the kind of standalone that doesn't make much sense u less you plan on reading all the other ones... at the end, I have more questions than I started with and even less answers... performance was awesome though.. great narrators

Holy Cow!!

The story was crazy!! It sucks you in, and so many insane things take place. Right up my alley! Alex and Amelie were and are AMAZING!! I absolutely love any narration the 2 of them do together.

It was a good story

It was a good story. It kept me wondering how it was going to end! But it could have been MUCH shorter… there was a ton of redundancy. “Just tell me” “why won’t you tell me” “is no one going to tell me” It kinda got annoying kinda wanted to fast forward a few times just to get the story moving along. The performance was excellent though.

Bride

This book was truly inspiring. It provided profound insight into the mysteries surrounding Sean's fate and the reasons behind it. I took the time to read many of the reviews on here, and I believe some individuals may not have read her other books, which is essential to grasping the narrative. I felt compelled to share my thoughts because some reviews were unsettling. Notably, Sean Jr. and Zara's parents have their own book. I loved this book because it shed light on the unknowns surrounding Sean and the individuals involved. Moreover, catching up with beloved characters from previous books was incredible. The author's explanation of Sean's motivations was exceptional, and I wholeheartedly understand his actions. To deepen your understanding, I recommend reading 'Relentless Hunter' to learn more about Sean Jr.'s family also there is some part of it in the book Toxic .This will provide valuable context and connections.

Mafia Wars......the next generation

I love this story. All be it...it was a bit much with the unnecessary killing, but a good story all in all. Now I didn't care for the male narrator. But it was good.

too long

The audiobook is chefs kiss the plot was good, but it was way too wordy and after 72% in the mystery was still a mystery and the story dragged way too long.

Interesting

This story has a great premise. I love the secret society aspect with an outside mafia force. There were times when it just seemed like the characters got over conflicts too quickly. I don’t want to spoil anything but I kept thinking “so now it’s ok” or “why are you ok with this all of a sudden”. It doesn’t take away from the story and I still recommend it as a listen but those aspects were just a bit of a draw back for me. These were 2 new narrators for me and I think they did a great job especially with the different accents in this book. Alex has a great voice and does well emphasizing emotional moments and creating distinct voices. Amelie also did a great job of portraying multiple characters and making emotional connections. The story wrapped up nicely but definitely left a nice starting point for book 2.

Such a good Audio

The narrators for this book were fantastic! I absolutely loved the way they got into this story and you heard the different tones in the voice. When the MMC and FMC were fighting with each other, the narrators changed how they read and you truly felt the characters arguing.

Overall the story was good and it was a great introduction to this new series. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

never a dull moment

this book kept you wondering. great ballance of spice/violence/mystery. can't wait for second book.

Parts of it were really confusing and parts were boring and I really just didn’t care.
