Pocosmimos es un pequeño castor que se siente muy solo. Organiza sucesivas fiestas, para que acudan a divertirse con él otros animales. Todos se ponen muy contentos al recibir la invitación, pero ninguno asiste porque no las hace en los lugares adecuados. Los gatos no pueden llegar nadando hasta un islote, los patos no sabe n subir a un árbol, los osos no caben por la puerta de la cueva del castor y los pájaros no encuentran la fiesta escondida en la maleza. Pocosmimos cree que nadie quiere jugar con él y, desolado, se pone a caminar. Así llega a un prado y encuentra a los animales del bosque jugando juntos. Todos, al verlos, le dan la bienvenida. Pocosmimos está tan contento al darse cuenta de que le quieren, que decide cambiar su nombre por el de Muchosmimos.
Gabriela Keselman nació en 1953 en Buenos Aires, Argentina, aunque aún siendo adolescente se trasladó a Madrid y, con el tiempo, adoptó la nacionalidad española. En la actualidad, Gabriela Keselman vive entre España y Argentina. Ha trabajado como docente en el área de creatividad infantil y ha coordinado diversos talleres. También ha colaborado como redactora en varias revistas, especialmente en la revista Ser padres hoy, en la que permaneció once años y fue jefa de la sección "Así crecen", y en la que reseñó libros, ofició de crítica, entrevistó a otros autores y escribió sobre literatura infantil y juvenil.
