Practical and Concise book

A necessary and important topic with practical advises. So interesting that I wanted more chapters! looking forward to your next Book Mrs Sarmiento.

Short and to the Point in a Marriage

A good listen in a religious approach as a guidance to a good marriage. Even if you are not a religious person. I feel it’s a good blueprint in what a working marriage should be by respecting each other’s indifference and finding a common ground to make it work. Overall good book & well narrated.

I llove this book!!!

I wish this book were longer!!! I really appreciate the way marriage is explained in this book. So many people think after so many years marriage is a war zone. I feel like it only becomes a war zone when you get caught up in all the negative things and forget the positive things!!! Being creative in your relationship is the most important part as time goes on, and things become more obligatory, the fun can still be a factor, as long as you nurture it.

Contains some good relationship advice

I must say that the book is not what I was expecting. The book takes a Christian-centric approach to marriage. Though I don't necessarily agree with everything the author mentioned in the book, the book contains some good advice, like trying to find a common ground between you and your partner and taking interest in your partner. However, in my opinion, marrying someone doesn't mean two people evolve into one. I think in a healthy relationship, each partner should maintain some sense of their own identity and have some sense of personal boundaries. For someone who is not Christian or religious, this book might not be for you.

Marriage Savior!

This book has fantastic recommendations of how to stop conflicts with your spouse and avoid getting to a point of resentment. My favorite part of the book was about finding compromise.

Marriage isn't easy and we all run into life hurdles. Don't be afraid to get and use resources at your disposal. That's what I did and I'm super grateful.

Totally recommend it!

This was a short audio book but a good one! I’ve shared this short book with friends and family because I know it can make a difference to a couple who is struggling with their marriage or is in the brink of divorce. Maybe it won’t change their minds or actions completely, but it might be a starting point to help improve their marriage. I also like how the author did not sugarcoat what marriage should look like. She was upfront and honest when setting your expectations of marriage. I loved it and I definitely recommend it.

A breath of fresh air in this crazy world

This book should be read by ever married couple, or anyone looking to be married one day. Marriage is not easy but your spouse should not be considered your enemy but a partner in this crazy world.
