I have been there

I have been separated since 2014 and I saw a lot of situation I could have done better by reading this book. Hopefully I can do better if I keep learning and improving, this book is nice reminder of thing we can do to improve. Nobody is perfect, but to have a guide and ideas of what we can do to improve goes a long way. I like this book a lot and felt if can help anyone if we are willing to apply what it is in its pages. Brilliant book

This book is going to help so many couples, I've been divorced many years now and basically never wanted my marriage saving but a few couples I know it could have saved, so many get divorced these days for the most trivial reasons.

This book is so well written and full of so much useful information and guessing, given you follow some of the strategies there is a really good chance most marriages could be saved. There are so many ways in which a marriage could fail and this book a long way to covering them all.

Brilliant Audiobook

Married? Engaged? You Need This!!

This book helped to transform the way my wife and I relate to one another. No longer do we assume the worst intent of the other, but instead we understand that each of us is motivated by something the other will probably never understand.

The author makes the case that deep down, women do what they do because of fear and men act the way we do because of shame. It's a very interesting perspective, and has proven to be the case in my own marriage.

I now understand that when my wife is resistant to anything fun, it's not because she hates fun. It's because she fears for me, and in turn fears the loss of stability I bring to the family. She now understands that when I get frustrated at her unhappiness, it's not because I think she should just get over it, it's because I take it personally -- I'm ashamed that I can't provide a stable environment for her, one that will make her happy.

Understanding each others' perspectives has done worlds of good for our marriage. I highly recommend that you listen this for your relationship.

Very accessible

The good thing about this audiobook is very accessible, at least even if i'm driving i can able to listen to. I have both book and audiobook so whenever i feel like i want to do....it's both good anyway...the fact that you will really learn something great in this book..so grab one now.

Something to think about

This book definitely hits home. Many of us don't realize the dangerous paths we are on in our relationships. The author did a great job explaining the areas to avoid to keep your relationship going in a positive direction.

It was talking to me

I got this book because I am always learning new ways to keep my marriage strong. I couldn’t stop listening to this book. It felt like the author was talking to me directly. Now I know the my husbands love language and how to be emotionally connected in a deeper level. I will recommend this book to my friends that I know it will help them as well.
