Reese Masemer had been dating one of Daisy's employees, Tessa, an artist, though their last interaction was as strained as a cup of loose leaf tea. Now Reese has been found dead near a covered bridge where Tessa's been practicing her sketches. She's the obvious suspect, but Daisy's learning that there were some major secrets in Reese's background, and several of his relationships were infused with resentment. To save Tessa, she'll have to find out who's tainted this quaint little town with murder....

I really struggled
I really struggled listening to this book. I hesitate to give the actual story less then 4 stars because when reading you imagine your own voices or how the characters are, the Audible part was horrible. Seriously horrible. It made me dislike all the characters. I couldn't bond to even one of em. I actually skipped the last few chapters to a part where I found out who the murderer was and then ended it.

cats
I didn't like to hear about the cats. She treated them like people. if you are silly about cats. then you will love this. I'm a dog person. the mystery is good but I can't take the silliness about the cats a more.
