Life at Mount Weather is indeed a significant improvement from their former life, but it is not without its dark side, and Zach finds himself having to make a difficult choice.

Great series
This is my favorite zombie series! The cast is great and the develops spot on. I can't wait to hear the next one.
My only complaint is the dreams, please Mr. Achord don't ruin the series with a bunch of dream prophecies like Chris Philbrook did to his series.

An outstanding fifth instalment to a great series.
Zak and the survivors arrive at Mt. Weather and find it hard to settle in with them. We meet new people, get a bigger picture of folks introduced in book four, and of course hold our breath as they fight zombies and marauders . An excellent fifth instalment to a series I love.

I did not want it to end
I am a big fan of the zombie genre but all 5 zombie rules are the only ones I felt compelled to write a review for . I really enjoyed all five books and the narrator did a great job narrating all of the characters

A great addition to the series!
I advise that you start with the first book in the series to get the maximum benefit from the story. I wish the book were longer as it's easy to become interested in the characters lives. If you're looking for a series you can listen to back to back this is one of the best!

I live in Maryland, Fort Detrick is NOT pronounced as the reader is pronouncing it. It's pronounced
De trick(de like Dee). This drive me crazy listening to him pronounce it incorrect.

Good but not as good as the previous books
I love these books have read and re-read all the prior releases. Was a bit disappointed in this story line. Not much substance. Will still be interested if there is a next release.
