Beauty and the Beast with a Twist

Great listen, it kept me up wanting another chapter. The reader is excellent at different characters, the accent he uses I really enjoy.

Taming of the shrew, goblin style.

Never knew that goblins could cute, funny, frustrating, and redeeming social value. this book proves that they can. Moody is known for her temper and sharp tongue. Completely unmarriageable, until she moves to Shadowvale, to serve a 1 year indenture for her ailing father. There she meets the beast, traitorous former king of Limbo and beast. She soon realizes that what she was taught about him & believed, may not be true. Her life becomes a fast track to intrigue and adventure. Fun, enjoyable story easy to read and entertaining to hear on Audible. I read some and listened to even more, enjoying both. I recommend this intriguing romance to all in whatever format they prefer.

Another knockout!!!

Painter/Harrison combo always means goodness for me. Author writes amazing stories with characters that I always want to know more about, while this narrator gives them voice to the point you can picture how they look.

This book was a most enjoyable listen. It was very hard to put down. I loved Theos character best.

Moody little beast

Okay, I pretty much loved all things Shadowvale, but I pretty much love all things Kristen Painter, so it's expected. I've now "read" all books in the Shadowvale series, and yup, I pretty much loved them all. The one I struggled with the most was The Forgettable Miss French because both she and the male character were very isolated until the end, and while they both had some pretty funny things happen it just wasn't quite the same. What I loved about this book besides Moody and the Beast was how the story traveled between realms. The time spent in Limbo is minimal, but it was still there, and thanks to Theo, aka Moody, you get a sense of how things are in Limbo, think Snow White's country under the evil queen's rule. Yes, it's a tad predictable as you know Robin is not guilty of the crime he has been portrayed as committing in Limbo's history books, that's obvious from the get-go, so I don't feel guilty for spoiling it. Last but not least, B.J. Harrison is phenomenal. Favorite book in the series, not quite, that belongs to The Vampire's Cursed Kiss, but this was no less awesome.

Mr Harrison does outstanding performances. I think this one was his favorite too.!? Good all around. Excellent build up to Moody. Really enjoyed all of this series. Good job,all.

This was the best of the Shadowvale series so far! All of them have been good, but this one had it all!

Absolutely Wonderful

This series just keeps getting better. I love that B.J. Harrison is narrating this series as well as the Nocturne Falls Universe. This book was so great I couldn't stop listening to it. I cant wait until the next one comes out.
