The slow female narrator

This was a good storyline but the female narrator was so slow which made things boring and hard to listen to. I wanted to rush the store a bit because of her

Boring

Good story about a man rescuing a damsel in distress the way it unfold. It was boring and had no interesting twist to it. I feel like I just listen to a book from 1990 and not 2023. This story was so predictable and very undeveloped. This book was so similar to 20 other books I may have listened to there was no creativity when creating the story. The female narrator sounded like she was near writing for a horror story and not a love story. Every time I have to listen to her, she puts me to sleep. She is very gloomy and has no flexion in her voice, and when she tries, you can tell she tried to purposely. She’s not a good actor or narrator. Very boring to listen to the male narrator was just OK. They both sounded muffled !! Super elementary story .

Really Mom?!?!?!

Yes I wanted to kick the mother's butt from the first chapter. At lunch I wanted to smack the greediness out of her. On to book 2

Great book

This is a good book but the Narrator speaks to slowly which makes you want to fast forward the book to to get to the end. I can't wait for book 2 if same Narrator please can you speak a little faster you have a beautiful voice 💗

Ratings low because of the female narrator

Overall storyline was good but could have been better with a different narrator. Every time I listen to her it irritates me. Like dragging a nail on metal! She speaks too slow and nasal. Hope the next book is better

It was okay

it had a lot of potential but it was dragged out and kind of didn’t make sense at the end

Good BOOK

My only complaint is the female preformed she reads so slow I listen at 1.15 speed she says ax instead of ask and I hate when people do say it wrong.

The whole book is so good

The only thing I don’t like is the way it end. We need a part two to this book.

The story was drawn out

Too many misreads to name; however, Chapter 16 at 9:22 stood out. Also the story was drawn out too long
