The time has come for Fayte to create a guild—the first one in Age of Gods.

But creating a guild is a lot easier said than done, especially when the place Fayte wants to create hers is the most dangerous location currently within the game.

Stampede. The term refers to an event that happens when humans leave the city and a horde of monsters gathers to attack them. It’s guaranteed to happen while their sect is being built, which means it is up to Adam, Aris, Fayte, Kureha, Lilith, Susan, and Titania to defend the construction workers while they build it.

But how can they defend anything when faced with hundreds of monsters all above level 30?

Stop with the dmg notifications

I love the series but it’s really annoying when in every fight there is 2-5 minutes straight of dmg notifications. Just the narrator reading out the same numbers over and over again.

Having to skip up to a hour of the book.

I listened to the first 3 books with Tess Irondale.(One of the GOATs of audible narrators) Finally saw the fourth book came out and listened to it. I don't know why the damage was read out in this one so much compare to the other 3 or if it was the specific narrator who did it instead of taking the initiative into slimming it down. I had to skip a giant part of the book because of that and started making me upset. I don't know if authors don't listen to the book before saying "Sure that's fine." and putting it out. Not the only book that has done this but I mean it only takes a day to listen to it and ask for these slight changes.

The repeated damage notifications make you go mad

I still enjoy the story, when you can actually listen to it. There is so much time just repeating damage notifications that you have to start skipping combat, because you can’t listen to 20 minutes of, “minus 7000.”

The change of narration isn’t great, I am not sure why they couldn’t get Tess again, but the new narrator kind of ruined Lilith’s voice. I still enjoyed the story outside of the production/narrator stuff.

I beg you to at least look over the script or book for audio in the future installments, and remove the repeated damage notifications. It makes action set pieces unenjoyable, and really messed with the flow of the book.

PLEASE get rid of reading out every single damage notification. Best thing to do is a single damage notification with an x count. How did you think it was a good idea to read damage notifications for 5 minutes, not just once but repeatedly??? At this point you are just padding time... I was really looking forward to this installment and this completely killed it for me.
