Captivating story!
This is the first autobiography that I’ve been able to get hooked on and actually finish. And - I did it in less than 5 days! The fact that Syd and Shea narrated themselves was a huge plus. And the honesty they conveyed in their story was inspiring. I’ve always enjoyed them since watching their show on Netflix but this book brought it to another level. Great job guys!

Fun, inspiring, and practical! Couldn’t stop listening.
If you watched their new show on Netflix, you already love the McGees for their down to earth nature and beautiful, timeless, yet unique and fresh style. This book is a story of their journey, with raw moments as well as funny stories, all centered around practical and specific design and business tips (I appreciated the specificity here!). I truly loved getting the peek behind the curtain and found it inspiring, interesting, fun and very well written - I couldn’t stop listening and finished it in just a few days! Highly recommend for anyone interested in design, entrepreneurship, or just a fun and inspiring story!

So inspiring!
I have never bought anything from McGee & Co but I’ve been a long time admirer of everything they do and this book made me love them even more. Highly recommend getting this book on audible so you can hear them tell their inspiring story!

Loved it!
I started watching the Netflix show on season 2. So I really didn’t know their background, I did some research and realized how down to earth they are so I bought the audiobook. It was one of my quickest listens so far. It was an easy read and very enjoyable. Very human.
