Inspiring and Warm

I’m a huge fan of the McGee couple. Hearing about their journey has been such a pleasant experience. It felt like I was just at a cafe catching-up with them. Their story inspires me to continue making life beautiful and going after my dreams.

Captivating story!

This is the first autobiography that I’ve been able to get hooked on and actually finish. And - I did it in less than 5 days! The fact that Syd and Shea narrated themselves was a huge plus. And the honesty they conveyed in their story was inspiring. I’ve always enjoyed them since watching their show on Netflix but this book brought it to another level. Great job guys!

This book is a story of their journey, with raw moments as well as funny stories, all centered around practical and specific design and business tips (I appreciated the specificity here!). I truly loved getting the peek behind the curtain and found it inspiring, interesting, fun and very well written - I couldn’t stop listening and finished it in just a few days! I started watching the Netflix show on season 2. So I really didn’t know their background, I did some research and realized how down to earth they are so I bought the audiobook. It was one of my quickest listens so far. It was an easy read and very enjoyable. Very human.
