LOVED it.
I love the way this author elaborated on a true Bible story. Wonderful job. Narrator was perfect, easy to understand, follow, and just an all around great job.

nice story
it was sweet, it struggled a little to be believable regarding dialogue but did a nice job of incorporating scripture and seeking to create a plausible love story for a man with over 200 women, he was flawed like the rest of us

My favorite love story
I loved the story but was often distracted by the repetitive cadence of the narrator. Her characterizations were good, but often spoiled by this constant tonal cadence of each sentence.

Solomon’s failure
Having never considered seriously the book of Song of Solomon and its historical context, I had just thought it a romance Bible book. In light of this historical fiction book’s adaptation based on the Song of Solomon, I was crying over Solomon and his shulamite bride.
