Great beginner course - excellent for travel

I found the method very efficient and I enjoyed the tips (tomato, mosquito, pluto etc) in forming the different tenses. It includes pretty much everything you need to know if you plan a journey to Italy. I found the narrative voice a bit to relaxing :). I also adjusted the speed to 1.2 or 1.3, as the pace was a bit too slow. There are a lot of repetitions but I guess this is how the vocabulary sticks. Overall, a good investment, well worth the 1 credit for the complete course.

Best Audio Book to Learn Languages

I’ve tried quite a few audio books to learn basic Italian but this is the only audible book which made it possible for me to start to converse in the language. I ‘m looking forward to listening to Next Steps in Italian and hope it’s as good as this one.

Excellent study material

Plenty of repetition. Enough to make your travelling easy in Italy. Enough for basic conversions.

Updates Required

Very good program overall.
However, I don’t think many people camp anymore or reserve hotel rooms without a bathroom. The program should be updated to include airport situations and phone and texting scenarios.

Wish the conversations were a bit more varied

The learning method was great (though I find 1.5 x listening to sound more natural). The phrases and discussions seemed a little odd, but maybe it gets better with the “next” part of the series. Otherwise, pretty great!

Italian 101

Great way to start learning a new language. A good way to progress in the language. May recommend that a few more modern context be used but overall it is thoroughly enjoyable and intuitive.
