Gave me a good start in the Spanish language!

I really enjoyed learning through this course! it helped me very much. It was all very clear and understandable.
I didn't know much Spanish besides hola and buenos dias. but now I feel I can really have a basic conversation and get around a bit if I'm in a Spanish speaking country.
Now I'm going on another next course! :)

A Lot of repetition

most of book is the same. very basic limited vocab. only 2 chapters on advanced tenses.would like to see more in depth scenarios

well structured easy way to learn Spanish

I was able to talk to Spanish people in Spain after using this book. I already speak Italian this book filled in the new Spanish vocabulary.

one criticism though is that the book does a good job teaching you how to ask for directions but doesn't teach you how to understand directions. unless everything is "in front of the cathedral" you're out of luck. you hsve learn right left up down outside of the book.

I liked this right from the very beginning, so I found and bought the rest of the Paul Noble audio books for Spanish, as well as the introductory set for Chinese.

great but not complete

I don't think it is a good book if you are a complete beginner. It is great if you already have some knowledge.

Great book to start your Spanish learning journey

I think this was a good book to start my Spanish learning. I feel like it sets a good foundation. I'm still going to have to read or listen to maybe one or more books because my goal is to speak Spanish fluently.

Repetition

A lot of repetition in the book. You get to hear 2 different native speakers in the book as well to help you get accustomed to their pronunciation.

3 readers with very different voices keep it interesting.
Bought 2 more of his books just before I finished this one, just so I didn’t run out.
