Bay Winchester thinks the only thing on her to-do list is a memory spell to make Aunt Tillie’s archnemesis forget all the bad things that have happened to her in recent months. When the spell almost backfires thanks to an error on Aunt Tillie’s part, things almost spiral out of control and she’s annoyed.

That annoyance turns to fear when on their way home they find a vehicle in the middle of the road. It’s running, but nobody is in it. A quick search leads Bay and Evan to three bodies in the woods. And they didn’t die of natural causes.

When the FBI arrives on the scene, Bay has a choice to make. She agreed to help with their new paranormal unit, and it seems they’ve finally found a case. Just what will this new partnership entail, though?
Bay wants to help. Even more, she wants to be part of a team. What if the team she already assembled was better than her new one, though?
There’s a monster on the loose, and it is not done killing. If anything, it is just getting started. On top of that, Bay has family problems coming out of every cauldron. Aunt Tillie is up to something, Thistle is covering for something, and Landon just found out he no longer has an eight-pack.
Bay has a lot on her plate. There’s no turning back, though, because if she doesn’t find the monster, it will find her family. And it won’t stop until everybody is dead.

Bay is the mightiest witch in Hemlock Cove. Even she might not be able to fight this darkness.

Another Winner

The Winchesters never fail to entertain. Add in Evan, Scout, Stormy and Gunner and you have a rowdy bunch of fun. The story was great with an unexpected twist.

Pretty Good

This isn't the best in the series, but it was okay. I look forward to the next book.

Aunt Tilly.. I really couldn't wait to see whatsoever was into next..

in every book she was just doing her thing and I laughed every time she put someone "On her List" when I grow up I want to be just as rotten as she plays.. sorry there are no more books..

Any continues to come into her own!

Loved the latest edition of the Hemlock Cove shenanigans. bay is taking a chance and is going to feel out working with Landon’s boss. But it has to be on her terms. She won’t put anyone else but is going to need their help. I mean you have a nyad, two Aunt Tillies, and apparently a serial killer. That’s a lot to deal with!

Excellent narration and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tale.

Excellent Direction

This series has gone in an amazing direction with the paranormal task team. It has really breathed new life into an already terrific storyline.

this story has more depth to it and although it definitely has it’s lol parts, it was a bit more solemn than others past. the issue of, will Bay join Steve’s team, is still undecided, but as for me, Steve is a little annoying. he does come around to see and understand Bay’s points and her pov tho, which makes him easier to stomach. he’s been great with Landon in everything up to now and i get he’s just excited.
all in all, it was a great storyline, especially when you add in Two Aunt Tillie’s!

Weird Justice

Characters are great. Mystery missed the mark with so many unsupported assumptions. Gave justification for the weird sense of justice at the very end of the book. All in all, my least favorite of the series.
