Well written sequel

I liked this book for its sequel properties, while the middle slowed a bit for my liking (hence 4 stars) its novelty, performance, character building and ending make up for it. This series deserves more recognition in the fantasy romance genre.

Chomped down in 36 hours

The only problem I have with such intricate tale-spinning is that it will likely take a while until the next book from this author. Please buy these books so she can quit any day job taking up valuable writing time!

Storyline is great ,

The female narrator is not it. Her voice just didn't fit and she kept smacking her mouth. very distracting and annoying. she sounds like she is 60 years old and not a young woman.

Thrilling characters

I have enjoyed the first two books and am desperately awaiting the next. The mysteries unfold little by little.

Soooo worth the read!

I’ve loved this series so far, although I’m hoping the third book has some more spice. Regardless the build up is stellar!

Sexually frustrating, heart stopping, super sexy. Adventurous, strong female character who controls the meanest of the mean.

Great character growth

This is a great story! I loved seeing Lonnie grow as a character and seeing her connect with Sion and Bale

So much potential

I had a hard time getting through this but I had to know what happened! Listen and judge for yourself- I hope it's worth it so I'll be waiting on book #3. It's got cool magic system, conflicted badass MMCs, romance, drama, but nothing too dramatic. Also, awkward long pauses where nothing happens at all! Let's get on with it!!! I mean come on!?!?! Tell us ANYTHING we don't know already!!!

This series is decent…but I detest Scion. His behavior and mind set are awful. He’s quickly becoming my least favorite book character. He’s a giant 🚩 red flag.
I do like the storyline and that’s its multiple pov.
I wish the rest were out on audible.

Just ok. Lonnie seems a bit dumb which is annoying. Also, questioned her lack of interest in Bale the whole book. The storyline was just eh.. plus the female narrator’s voice is hard to listen to.
