I loved loved this series, 2 books! I’m actually speechless. It’s 5:00 am and I just finished the 2nd book. I highly recommend and plan on another series by AR!!

That is not a complaint 😉. The story was good as well which isn’t always the case with so much spice. I’m curious about the 3rd book in the series.

Great conclusion

This is the conclusion to the Lords of Darkness, and does a good job of resolving conflicts and cementing the relationship between the FMC and her men. There's a satisfying amount of spice. And a HEA.

📚 Book Review 📚
I thought Lords of Darkness was hot… Holy hell, did this book ramp up the spicy to magma levels. A great ending to such an exciting duet, it’s filled with danger, growly and possessive anti-heroes, and a FMC who becomes their queen.

The relationships transition from the MFMMM of book one to MMMMF (including MM bi-awakening). It may seem a sudden transition, but when your lives are so intermeshed, when you are forced together by a secret society’s familial requirements, trusting only one another, giving into attraction (especially when Harlow loves to watch) doesn’t feel far-fetched.

Lady of Darkness has a very high smut-to-plot ratio, with expl0sive group scenes that include explicit MM.

I loved this duet and cannot wait to read more of Amanda’s works.

This book has given me a huge audiobook hangover. I don’t know how another book can top the way Michael Gallager gives me full-body shivers when he says, “Good girl.”

Both narrators rocked their performances. It's an excellent duet narration.

THE ENDING

ugh i’m such a sucker for a good plot and HEA. i liked this one (especially the SPICE!!) but i wish the storyline wasn’t so rushed. i would’ve liked to see more of the mafia / secret society aspect. the performance was just as amazing as the first so 5/5 on that! overall, i loved this duet and i’d highly recommend it to those who are fans of this genre.

Wonderful story.

I absolutely love this second piece of this story. The first book finishes in the middle of an issue, but this book brought everything together and I am really glad that I got to read both books. I really hope to find out more about this group of individuals in the future.

Thanks for letting me have a review copy for my honest opinion because once again I love it.

The Lady and her Lords!

I read this for the first time in December of 2022 and loved every moment of it. Here is my original review.

I was so ready for this book when it hit my Kindle!
Amanda Richardson did not disappoint!
The growth of Harlow, the heroine, was so fun to read.
She came in to her own and ruled over all four of the Lords or Darkness. Enjoyed this book till the very end, was surprised by the ending, I was hoping for a tad bit more, but that could have been because I didn't want the story to end! Loved it

I am not sure if I totally forgot how spicy this book was, or with it being an audio and Brooke and Michael, bringing the characters to life, made it even more spicy. However, this books level of spice was most certainly five chili peppers on the scale, it was absolute fire! Could not get enough, it is a must read, but don’t forget to read the Lords of Darkness before. If not, it won’t make much sense.

Amazing!

I was able to listen to this duet on audio and let me tell you, it was SO good!
Not only the spice but also the plot! Divine!
A dark RH with secret “clubs” yes please!
This was my first duet by Amanda, and I automatically added others by her onto my TBR because the writing style is just chefs kiss!

And she picked the PERFECT narrators for the characters.
I felt like I was IN the books the whole time, and that’s the point of audio for me!

In Love

After the ending of Lords of Darkness I was so ready for this! This was amazing. So much got cleared up from book one. There was some slightly unexpected MM. 🥵 It was just as dark and dirty as the first one. The plane scene about unalived me. As good as the sm0t was, the plot was just as great. I’m so glad that I finally read this series.
