Acerca de esta escucha
'Laugh out loud funny and deeply validating - every person who thinks ADHD isn't real should read this book' Leanne Maskell, author of ADHD: An A to Z
Nobody should spend their life feeling defective. Everyone deserves to have a user manual to their brain - welcome to yours.
Once associated more with hyper boys than adults, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) is now recognised as a condition in need of a rebrand which affects people of all genders and ages in a multitude of ways.
In this enlightening and definitive layman's guide, Kat Brown cheerfully smashes the stereotypes with scientific evidence, historical context, and practical support for ADHD minds across areas that can cause problems, from finances and work to self-medicating, relationships, hormones and self-esteem.
Based on Kat's personal experience and extensive interviews with ADHDers and world-leading clinical experts, It's Not A Bloody Trend is for anyone wondering if what's always been 'wrong' with them might just be undiagnosed ADHD.©2024 Kat Brown (P)2024 Hachette Audio UK

Adult ADHD has long been misunderstood, but is finally getting the attention it deserves as a very real and debilitating condition. More people than ever are having that penny-drop revelation that ADHD might explain what has made life so difficult for them, but NHS waiting times for referrals are running into years, and thousands are not getting the help they desperately need. Historia
Now, most people have heard of ADHD and know someone who may have it. But lost in the discussion of both childhood and adult diagnosis of ADHD is the potential upside: Many hugely successful entrepreneurs and highly creative people attribute their achievements to ADHD. Also unknown to most are the recent research developments, including innovations that give a clearer understanding of the ADHD brain in action.

Informative and engaging book on adult ADHD from a British professional who knows the field of ADHD so very well.
The audiobook reader does an excellent job, even though this is not read aloud by the author. The content here is so useful that I played the audiobook straight through. Diagnosed as having adult ADHD, author Kat Brown is a unique and qualified expert in the field. Her clever writing style and personal story compelled me to get the kindle version, too. I hope Kat will read her future books for Audible because I loved hearing her talk on the ADHD Chatter Podcast on YouTube yesterday, which brought me here!
