There are so many different weight loss gimmicks, tricks and programs and it's easy to get lost in the confusion. I became interested in researching different weight loss information because I needed it for myself. I used to be skinny and could eat anything I wanted without gaining a pound. Then that changed to the point of me struggling just to lose ten pounds. I realized that in a year's time, I had gained 60 pounds. Reality did not hit me until I stepped on a scale. It was heart wrenching. I felt so unattractive and loss confidence in myself. I tried workout plan after workout plan and nothing worked. Eventually, I finally found a way to lose weight. After trying so many different gimmicks, I finally found the right way.

I sure would! Im implementing these steps in my life!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes several actually, but the main thing was how difficult I thought losing weight was. Its actually all in the mind, and the steps in here shows you how to gain confidence and lose weight at the same time, and maintain and keep the weight off!

Yes I would, I listen to it in the morning to its engrained in my head. I want this healthy lifestyle to become a habit!

Overall I was very pleased with this book, it pretty much straight to the point, and gives you realistic tips to stick to. I'm already starting to look great and feel great! Kudos to the writer April for sharing her secrets!

Which scene was your favorite?

I can say this book has changed my outlook on life, Struggling with weight is no joke. I've always been what you call a yo-yo dieter. My weight would go up and down, literally all my life. With this book I was able to change my life literally, Ive lost 30lbs following the suggestions in this book, WITHOUT the help of diet pills. All natural. My confidence has really boost lately!

This is a book that can be listened to in one setting definitely, I'm in a yoga group so we all sat and listened to this after a yoga session, I'm ordering a copy for my spin class as well!

Filled with Joy right now, April gets it!! Her techniques in this book are phenomenal, Im so glad I did purchase this book, I was skeptical thinking it was just another book that claimed to have the "secret" to weight loss, but I still purchased anyway and Im so glad i did!!

I loved Marie's performance, she's the best!

What moved me most was the authors ability to make losing weight simple, its not as hard as my mind believed!

I enjoyed this book because I could relate to it so much, I've been a yo-yo dieter, so to have April simplize steps to make you healthier and lose weight is fantastic!!

I loved both equally!

I loved this book so much I got a copy for my girlfriend Tammy, She and I both struggle with weight management so this was just what we needed, I dont do reviews a lot but I felt the need to express my thoughts and let everyone know how great this book is!!

Thanks April, OMG this book is amazing the tips are amazing, I am absolutely glad I stumbled upon this book, I was really looking to shed this extra 15lbs off that has been snagging me, and After reading this book I put the tips to action and would you know that I shed 7lbs in the first week and half, Im crying tears of joy right now! Thank You!!! Thank You!!

A guys Perspective

Would you listen to How I Won My Weight Loss War again? Why?

I would, As a guy sometimes, we honestly feel like we don't need any help doing anything. Finally I stop pretending I know everything, and just let my pride go. So I purchased this book. I wasn't fond of weight loss books, but I have to say this book really did help me out at the end of the day. This book has given me a sense of control over my weight, Im a hefty guy, so it was time to get this weight under control. So far I'm happy about this new moment in my life!

I would recommend this book to everyone, but to the fellas who battle with weight more specially!
