Wow!

This second instalment is so good. Drake is a very troubled man and rightly so and Averyl is very strong willed and a little nieve. This is a mature themed book and that's no lie. The additional supporting characters also add to the enjoyment of this book. For me His Stolen Bride is a total package of action, deceit, treachery, loyalty, and love. You name it, it has it, very enjoyable.

Captivating

Shayla Black did an excellent job of keeping you in thralled in the story. You can't help but want to know how it all plays out. Tim Campbell give great voice to every character.

Steamy period piece action adventure.

When sibling rivalry leads to murder, one brother plots to destroy the other brother's devious plan to include stealing his future wife. The only problem is getting his new stolen wench to realize she's pining for the wrong brother. This book is well written with lots of drama, action, and steamy hot romance.
Tim Campbell's narration was superb!!
Every scene was extremely well acted. I say this deliciously devouring story was most definitely worth a credit.

Great series

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't want to stop listening to it. I'm enjoying reading this series very much. I'm looking forward to book number three. only complaint I have is the ending. I'm sorry but what a terrible ending. it just cut off. there could have been at least two more chapters with the Clans coming together for wedding. anyway it's a really good book just don't be surprised at the endings is not good. I'm hoping I'm booked three they explain a little bit more about these two then maybe the ending won't be so bad if that's the case.

Started out rather shallow but the story evolves well and characters develop into more complexity

I love period pieces like this series. It’s good to know that there were strong women then despite the societal limitations and expectations. Shayla is the best story teller.

Love this series and narration!

I love historical highland romances. This story was well written, interesting and also included the hero’s two friends from the previous book. Tim Campbell was marvelous as usual. He is excellent with men and women’s voices. I could listen to him all day.

Friendship of the three leading men

I enjoyed how the writer portrayed the friendship of the three men. The banter they engage in with each other. How true friends may not always agree with but still appreciate the others opinions. How they are not afraid to call each other out when they are do wrong.

Love the Scottish Romances

This story was a lot harder to get into than the first.. but over all I enjoyed it. Bummed that the female character was only 17..

Good book

Great listen. Well written and a good storyline to follow. Have read her books before.
