AWESOME JOB Lisa Gardner!!!

This is one of her best books yet! The ending was so surprising! I couldn't stop listening and finished in 3 days. Worth the credit!

Don't listen to the last chapter First

I didn't see this coming at all....this book kept me quessing the entire time. Excellent narration and terrifice story. It is a must read "hear".

Gripping book I could not stop listening

At first a little different but progresses fast, keeps you on your toes, wondering who the killer is. You will not want to stop to find out what happened to Anna Belle Grainger. Most of all it proves what a parent will do to keep your child safe.

A Heart stopping Must Read..

This is a very very complex, intense, edge of your seat, unpredictable dark thriller/chiller that has many many twists and layers upon layers of intrigue. I can't and won't even try to begin to describe it except to say it's a mixed up 'brain freeze' of a story that'll hook you in as you try to sift through clues to get to what is and isn't real and you just won't see the adrenaline induced , mind blowing ending coming.....I was provided this audio book at no charge by the narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBoom dot com".  

One of her best

This story is one of my favourite Lisa Gardner books. It was interesting from the very first chapter and never lagged. I think Detective DD is one of my favourite characters and she isn't the only major player in this book because there are 3 major characters and each one is very well done. Lots of twists and it kept me guessing throughout.

Good but not totally believable

The story line had some flaws but it was interesting and kept me wanting to listen more. I had my suspicions as to "who did it" early on but the ending was more complex than I had expected. Some of the things that happen are a bit of a reach and therefore it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. All in all, it was a good listen.

Loved the book. Narrator was great with female voices, however, her male voices sounded like old women. Lisa Gardner is one of my new favorite authors!

Hmm what to say..

Not a terrible book, I actually enjoyed most of it. Especially since it was not from DD’s perspective, I really don’t like her. However the narrator did Annabelle so poorly! She sounded like an 80 year old woman most of the time! Overall I would recommend, just get past the time jumping and the narration.

great story

i really liked the story as a whole. bo loose ends. what i struggled with while listening was the person narrating. whenever a character was "upset" or "crying" her voice was lifeless. not my favorite narrative by far. but still a good story.
