Action packed!

This was another action packed book in the Alpha Territories shared world. Diana and Raven, along with their crew mates and Maverick are looking for Jade and the shard.

Like with most of Shannon Mayer’s books, pure chaos ensues with every page. Epic battles, spicy scenes, magic, heartbreak and so much more with every turn of a page. I can’t wait to see how Diana and Raven’s story continues. I need more answers for all the questions and prophecies!

Gripping storyline and fun read or listen.

Diana's continuing story gets better with every book. The relationship development and growth between the characters keeps you turning pages or listening far into the night. You will go through all the feels in this one, I mean the full range of emotions, so keep the kleenex handy for both crying and laughing. That's what makes these books so good, you never know what to expect, but you can be sure it will be surprising and will touch your heart.
The one point that bugged me a little was the 2 narrators. Don't get me wrong, they are both very talented. and both did a great job. I also concede that the author wrote the chapters from 2 different characters perspectives. The only issue I have, and it's petty, is that while listening, you get used to hearing a characters voice by the narrator, and when they switch, it can be confusing to have a different voice in the next chapter. Just a personal preference.
Can't wait for the next book.

Keep it going

This quest is never ending. Diana and Raven are still trying to save the world and the journey is full of adventure and heat. Fast paced and action packed, but with the right amount of snark and spice. I love the banter and how badass Diana is. Raven is my new favorite book boyfriend. The narrators do a great job giving this story life and keeping me entertained.

Loved this!

Lots of action and good laugh out loud banter makes for an entertaining and interesting story! Fate and reported prophecy drive the storyline but with many of Mayer’s stories, there is a twist. Loveable characters and an engrossing story will keep you entertained and hooked for hours! Looking forward to the next book. The narrators did a fantastic job with bringing the book to life! I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

An incredible new instalment to The Alpha Territories series

Hidden by Fate is the action packed fifth book in The Alpha Territories series.

Picking up immediately after the previous book, our heroes deal with one problem after another in this fast-paced story. Readers are in for an emotional rollercoaster with rising animosity between Raven and Maverick. Both of whom are constantly vying for Diana’s attention.

While dealing with their own relationship dynamics, the fate of the world as we know is hanging in the balance. Shannon Mayer has crafted an immersive fantasy world, with high-stakes drama and the best banter. I love how we have so many supernatural/paranormal creatures coexisting in the same space, which really adds to the growing tensions and peril.

I alternated my physical read with the audiobook. I found the narrators really kept a nice pacing for the action packed story and brought the various characters to life.

If you haven’t picked up The Alpha Territories series yet, I highly recommend adding it to your TBR. This swoony romantasy series is a must-read.

Action packed

Picking up right where the previous book ended and my heart is pounding to see what Diana and her team will do next. Hidden by Fate certainly showcased what is at stake and it certainly kept everyone on their toes. I loved the action scenes and Raven. *Sigh* Diana is such a tough cookie, and I just love how she doesn't let her emotions get in the way of her decisions. The stakes are high in this one and I cannot wait for the sixth book to be released.
The narrators, Tillie Hooper, and Will Peters were great! They truly brought Diana and Raven and the other characters to life. The tones and inflections used were spot on for me. In many action scenes I felt like I was sweating right there with them, especially with the spider.
Many things were revealed in this book and I'm very eager to see what Diana does next.
This series is perfect for fans who enjoy shifters, vampires, prophecy, forced proximity, and great banter.

Incredible storyline

Shannon writes such amazing characters and worlds! Can not wait for the next chapter. Humor, adventure and spice all in one.

What an amazing adventure with Diana and Raven!

This book picks up right after the last so you don’t miss a thing. Mayer really hit the ground running with this one. The action was fast paced and heart racing. The tender moments were special and steamy. Raven is utterly divine in his affection for Diana. Talk about a possessive but respectful Alpha *deep sigh* There’s a reason Diana is Queen of Wolves. The woman is a badass warrior but her compassion is what sets her apart. She lives for her people but she will risk it all for those she loves. I absolutely cannot wait for the next adventure!

This entire story consumes you!

Amazing story with a phenomenal narrator! This audible really brings this world to life in your head! I love it!
