Too soon

Kate started a relationship only about 1-2 weeks after”death” of her husband. This made me feel unsupportive of both of them. It seemed very immature and callous of both of these main characters.

It was okay

I thought this was a decent read. I can't pinpoint what was missing to make this perfect but it was still pretty good. The narrator did a great job

Couldn’t stop listening

The story was gripping to the very end. A believable storyline that’s like a bad nightmare.

I'm currently read-reading the second book of the series, but this was available on audible plus to listen to, so I did.
The two books are totally unrelated, which I appreciate, because it's nice to know that the one I'm reading does not depend on the one I was listening to AFTER I was invested in the second, but it was a good story. I'm not convinced that it really required an entire book, but it was a nice diversion. It really is nice when the characters you like come out on top :)

ok but,

narrator inflection at wrong points in sentences. And weird inner dialog of author, not normal for a widow to expect to be arrested for spouses death.

Love of family

Thought story very poorly written, amateurish. However it showed the depth mother would go for love of her children.

contradictions in the story line

All the contradiction in the story, from stupid heroin to being very clever. what it looks like 2 people wrote the story.

Mysterious and Heartwarming

Mysterious, Interesting, and Heartwarming novel. Well worth sharing, and I look forward to finding more from this author and narrator.

WOW THE SURPRISES

This story is full of twists and turns and it's not always easy to be sure who the good guys are. I couldn't turn it off, listened straight through! For those who like to be on the edge of your seat, this is the story!

unexpected ending!

the ending was a lot! not what I had imagined at all. completely unexpected. entertaining
