Very Enjoyable Listen!!!

This book really was a fun one! I laughed so many times and the characters are so lovable. No…the situations aren’t very realistic, but I’m not reading fiction for reality!! I’ll be looking for more books from Kristan Higgins!

Great read.

I have read many of Kristn Higgins books but this one is by far my favorite. As with all her books, the narration is superb .
The narrators kept me entertained with a fabulous story line filled with great characters.
I related so much to this audiobook.
Being an obstetrical nurse for 35 years and also having my marriage of 27yrs end in divorce I certainly could relate. Lily is my hero!

I struggled with the beginning due to my own baggage, but karma wins out in the end.

Great book the narration was amazing. These are some of my favorite narrators and this is my favorite author. Every book by this author and the writer keeps my attention and I’m always entertained informed and put through every emotion you can imagine. The characters are always smart thought-provoking and interesting. I highly recommend this author and these narrators.

Another great book

Fantastic story. Lots of plot turns with the usual humor that Kirstan puts in her books.
I love Xe Sands as Lily.

Loved everything about this book!
I had all the emotions while listening and was completely enthralled by the story. I didn’t want to stop listening for anything, but I also didn’t want to rush it because it would be over to soon.
As far as the narrators … it took me a minute to get into Lily’s narrator, but I did fall into a comfortable groove with her. The narrator for Melissa and Ophelia was definitely phenomenal. I laughed so hard at Ophelia at times. I know the characters were funny but the narrator nailed it and added so much!

Do you ever have the experience while listening to a book where the story makes you squirm, squeal, feel so much tension you need to push pause only to press play again 10 seconds later because you can't bear to NOT know what happens? I DO!! This book is all that and a bowl of clam chowder! Set on the idyllic outer edge of the Cape, Higgins paints the picturesque landscape to make you feel like you are sitting on the edge of the ocean along with Lillie! The range of emotions you go on with this story of the a wife and mother blindsided will make you laugh and cry and cheer her on from your beach chair {which is the perfect spot to read this book] !! Higgins knocks this book not only out of the park but over the Green Monster !![ ok fine.. KH, a Derek Jeter homerun] ! The story leaves you wanting more but in a good way meaning sequel because you don't want to leave their lives... it puts a big huge fancy bow in each characters lives in a way you won't see coming but will absolutely love!!! I can't recommend this book enough times!!! 5 hearts!!also Xe and Cj’s narration encapsulates each character to perfection!! This is a can’t miss book ! -KRB

XE Sands is incredibly talented. I search for books that she performs. You can feel the emotions of her characters.
