Yet again...
Yet again I'm surprised how much I liked it! Great story! Though it could use more development of the plot and characters, and more motivation from some of the characters this is still a treasure of a novel. I really enjoyed it.

great listen
I've read this series before but never listened to it. I definitely enjoyed the enthusiasm and animated voices performed by the narrator. it's a good storyline overall although the second book is more political.

Storytelling at its best
This was one of my favorite books when I was a teen so I was really excited when I saw that it was available on Audible. Mark Thompson did a fantastic job on bringing this story to life.

Ridiculous ending
I won't spoil anything, but the entire book was quite good, better than the first, and I was excited to get the third one, until about the last 5 minutes of the story when things went from making sense to being completely ridiculous and it turned me off buying the next two books. So, if you enjoyed the first one, you will probably enjoy this one. But, I was put off by the ending being so ridiculous in a narrative breaking way.
