These are just a few words to describe this book. It is full of truth, wisdom, and practical steps to take towards letting the Lord make your heart whole. Christa teaches us to embrace our pain, listen intently to our heart, and to stay connected with Jesus rather than block him from our pain. I will heartily recommend this book to every person I know, and listen to it many more times. Her narration perfectly captures the heart of her book.

Raw, healing truth...

I have never read a book that led me so deeply into the recesses of my heart and exposed the roots of hurt and pain that resides there, and at the same time, revealed the truth of the Savior standing right there, ready to *love* me and my broken heart to wholeness. It's a masterpiece straight from the Master's heart.

Healing my broken heart...

Since I purchased the hardcopy I knew I wanted to hear CBG and about Goldie's gift 'anointed to heal the broken hearted' every day so I got an Audible subscription bc Goldie and her mom/dad/family are healing my broken, shattered heart, tiny piece by tiny piece. Exactly What I Needed

Even though our struggles are not the same and our trauma isn't either. The way you shared your life paired with your relationship with Christ is helping me to heal. I am not one to express emotions, because I have been taught it is a sign of weakness as well as my personality does not give in to them easily.....however, when I heard you tell about Goldie's birth paired with my trauma.....I uncontrollably cried. When I heard about God giving you permission to feel and your experience with Him being there and sharing them with you....I could see Him with me as well. My journey to healing is on its way. And I am so thankful to all you have shared! So funny with all the terms you have used as well, because as I was talking to God, prior to starting your book, about my heart. He mentioned open heart surgery :).
