Would you listen to Grizzly Killer: The Medicine Wheel again? Why?
Yes, I am sure I missed some of the historic and adventure story pieces. It just kept you listen and wanting more and I felt like I was there.

Great mountainman adventures
Like being there! Vivid descriptions of the shining mountains and all who lived there at the time - both man and beast. Nothing is overdone, but just right for the historical feel. The characters in the book are developing trough the books and don't stay flat - even the secondary characters are interestingly described and live life of their own. Many fun subplots... in short, great book well narrated.

These booKS are great instead of movies I hope netflix makes a series out these books. I enjoy listening to the over and over again. 5 times so far, they help the miles roll on by.

Another good addition to the series
I still enjoyed this third book in the series, but the author has once again added more and more mystical, magical, supernatural elements to his story, and I am finding those more and more distracting from the basic story. But, I am looking forward to the next volume in the series, and hoping the author gets "back to basics" with less supernatural woo cluttering up the otherwise enjoyable story.
