great book

My son has been looking at what pet he wants and on the list, of course, was Ferrets!!!

After listening, he's 110% on the idea of owning a ferret but I know he'll be prepared. He has made me a very detailed list of everything he needs, it was adorable.

Learn to care for your precious animal with this compact guide. I really liked learning about ferret behavior. Their bad eyesight makes them act in curios ways where they seem to only respond to things that move. I had no clue they only saw in gray scale or about their terrible vision problems. Truly fascinating little creatures.

Great Advice from Someone with Experience

This book not only gives a guided story on how to raise a ferret but it also gives the history of them as well. This is a great read for anyone that is thinking about owning a ferret oe that already has one and is wanting to become a better owner for one.

I found this book entertaining even though I doubt I’ll ever live with a ferret. For someone thinking of bringing a ferret into their lives this is a must read (listen). You'll learn how to care for and not endanger your pet.

Fuzzy the Ferret education

Well narrated by Kaeomakana, This Books star is Fuzzy the Ferret. I had a ferret once, mine was named Guy. They are very stinky especially if a male, mine was. This book covers Bathing well, very important, even their teeth. Also covered is his vet trip 1x a year for blood and stool samples and distemper. Also covered is microchipping, this is really important as these guys can be lost easily and can hide really well. Great short book.

Little Wiesels!

I suggest getting this audiobook if you are thinking about a pet ferret. They are cute and entertaining, but they have unique needs and challenges.

This audiobook will guide through what they need, what to expect and how to prepare for being home ferret. It will save you money, time, and frustration.

This author does a great job of shortening the learning curve for future ferret friends.

Hilariously cute AND full of vital information!

I am SO GLAD this book exists. I had two ferrets growing up and wow, we did NOT have access to this kind of information back then. One of my ferrets died on me unexpectedly, and I feel like I've always blamed myself because of ignorance/user error. After listening to the chapter that explains about IDing common ailments I'm fairly certain she had pancreatic cancer. I had no idea that was common in ferrets and I never considered the impact that overbreeding can have on the exotic pet population. I never considered looking into breeders, either (mine were from pet stores and I never considered researching where the 'carpet sharks' came from). Anyhow, yea. This book should come with the acquisition of ANY ferret. It's a great place to start and to troubleshoot from, AND it's full of great ideas that will enrich the life of your furry friend.

Great Resource!

I love this audiobook! It details everything you need to know about how to efficiently raise a ferret. Most people think it might be easy because they sleep all day, but if you don't pay attention it could get hectic if your not sure what your doing. Perfect to teach new ferret owners and easy to digest for children to understand. I just got my daughter a ferret and we didn't know where to start! But luckily we came across this gem to is a total life saver! I highly recommend!

This was such a fun, informative guide for taking care of ferrets! The author does a great job of framing the content for prospective ferret owners, and makes each chapter approachable enough to feel achievable. Each chapter is informative and well organized, and the narrator is engaging and easy to follow along with. Definitely feel ready for ferret ownership now after listening !
